Evidence seems to be pilling up that they are trying to pin this on AI. All this in the midst of the Golden Boy Stucky seemingly not able to do anything right. Maybe the best thing is to cut AI and let him sign with the team of his choice. He did not ask to come here and only a bunch of idiots would trade for an established player without knowing what he is like. - "He is who we thought he was". Then we can go on to claim our lottery pick and read puff pieces over the summer on how great Stucky will be and all these great things to expect as Dumars "Grand Plan" begins to take its course. Sorry to be so down. Still a chance that they will turn it around but I don't know. 2 more key players were benched in AA and Amir. No wonder we cannot find any consistancy. Remember the Zoo crew? No one has had a chance to play with each other enough to establish anything off the bench. In this game. Interesting how they were using Paul to get the interior defense to collapse around him opening things up for their frontcourt. Now thats hard to accomplish if your center is camping out behind the 3-line when all this is happening. When AI gets inside he is usually the only one in there. And they wonder why its not helping.

What evidence? We've had one article that wasn't even that critical. If a coach was caught saying that, it's because it's guess what true. Just like it's true that Sheed sometimes takes bad threes, or that Rip has the tendency to force things, or that Tay needs to be more aggressive. IMO, the difference between those flaws is that they can be reigned in and/or corrected by a competent coaching staff. Maybe the same could be said for AI's defense . . . but that's another argument.
If Sheed acted the way KG did he would be thrown out of the league. If Sheed was aloud to set as many moving screens as KG we would be world champions.
and if sheed averaged 20 and 10 like Duncan or 14 and 11 like David Lee (who we passed on for JMAX!!!! AS I sat there SCREAMING!!!!!) , he'd have his number retired in Portland.. OOPs!! It's still a double standard. I prefer to think KG's "intensity" as a manifestation of i was never a tough guy and i'm kinda of a p --- so let me curse, yell, and scream to make up for it not him "playing hard" Have you ever seen the way KG reacts to a foul call? It's not that much different than Sheed. I find it hard to believe that the refs "respect" KG picking on random undersized PG, and throwing elbows, but have a problem with Sheed's "lazy play". And when Sheed gets a technical or kicked out the game, it's usually because he's engaged and playing his butt off.
He brought alot of it on himself IMO with past behavior, but at this point the refs need to get over it. Because the refs are overly critical of him it results in them officiating him differently which leads to Sheed getting frustrated/and or technicals which leads to refs continuing to treat him that way. It's like a vicious cycle. No matter how much he tones it down, i don't think it will ever matter.
And when Sheeda plays HARD, we do the same THING! IGNORE his BS!!! We do the same thing!!!That engaged BS stuff is played out. Why does he have to be ENGAGED?
