At Philadelphia 76ers April 4th, 3:00 PM TV - ESPN Radio WDFN 1130 Philly is looking for revenge from a loss at the Palace some 6 days ago. A must win for the Pistons.
Pistons by 4. Now that Philly fought their way back to 5th spot, they'll be nervous to hang on to it, which will be their weakness. I would normally guess we'll win by 12, but cheapsuit will find a way to make this difficult. Other notable events from the game: Sheed will either get a technical or have a monster game. Dice's shot won't fall but he'll get 8 rebounds. Herrmann will play with confidence and therefore make mistakes. AA will teach AJ origami on the bench. By the time the game's over, they'll have enough paper figurines to sing It's a Small World.
Sharpe tries to observe what they are doing but it becomes soon to clear that AA is not very good teacher nor is AJ willing student and therefore Sharpe falls to sleep again.
I do want him to succeed, and his lack of success frustrates me. But I don't really get too attached to these guys. The last player I really cared about was Ben Wallace. He was the penultimate Piston.
I think i was super attached to the whole starting 5. Now it's mainly Sheed (and possibly Rip). They were the team that really made me fall in love with the Pistons. I was always a fan, but being about 5-7 during the Bad Boys era didn't lend itself to really understanding what was going on too well LOL
I am just curious how the Pistons are gonna look and play. Are they gonna look relieved because the AI experiment is over or are they gonna look distracted because of all the Media hype surrounding AI and the Pistons. Pistons just need to fight hard to stay alive, will be a close game.
It would be too much to ask to become a fan at the age of 5 but we, as spoiled pistons fans still expect that your dolls names were "Zeke," "the Worm", "Daddy Rich".
only if you had the post detroit model.... till the very end he was pretty normal... atleast to the outside world.
Sixer second leader scorer over the past 10 games >Thadeaus Young is supposed to be out with a sprained ankle, so at least we won't have him there to abuse our bigs in the middle.
Young has been a monster as of late, so that gives us a lil hope. But that just means more durnks for AI (the real AI).
PLAY AMIR!! <just thought i'd put that out there early in case it has some sort of telepathic effect on Curry> edited toadd; If anyone has an explanation for why Curry hates Amir so much that he won't even play him against a team he dominated a week ago, can you please let me in on it? or why Kwame can't ever get back into the game after his 1st half stints? And why we need to play slow bigs together against PHI?
