At Toronto Nov. 5th, 7:00 PM TV - FS Detroit - NBA TV Radio - WDFN 1130 The undefeated Pistons (3-0) face the undefeated Raptors (3-0) in Toronto, as Allen Iverson makes his debut in a Piston uniform. Toronto has been playing well with Bosh and Calderon leading the charge.
This will be the game I'll be checking Mr. Iverson out to see if he is going to play like a team player or the I player we are so use to seeing. Hopefully, he doesn't get knocked out by our team by half-time.
Always look forward to my two favorite teams playing eachother. Should be a good one. AI is a raptor killer. I believe he averages more ppg against them then any other player so its a great team to make his debut against. Watched the three raptors games so far this season and I have to say that so far this is a very different team then we've played against in the past. Bosh is looking like a monster. Calderon's quietly becoming one of the NBA's stud PG's and JO presence seems to have uped the entire teams D. Still gotta go with the Pistons on this one though. Raps are just one of those teams that we have their number.
iverson scores 28 and 36 against toronto last year (even dropped five 3s in one of those games) while shooting 20 for 28.
Looks like Iverson isn't playing tonight. Billups hasn't done his physical yet which means AI can't play until he's approved.
I heard that Iverson may not play tonight. Apparently Chauncey has not taken his physical yet. I don't know what the hold up is or why he hasn't.
Let me preface this by saying i like MC; But he's going to drive me freakin' nuts all season with this Amir thing. When he comes out of the game in the 1st quarter, there is no mandatory rule that he can't play again in 1st half again. And this extends to the 2nd half/4th quarter. IMO, Stuck/Rip/Tay/Sheed/Amir is our best finishing line-up (excluding AI) On a side note, we need to work on our defense. Players are waltzing to the rim.
Herrmann getting some meaningful minutes. Try to imagine LB or Flipper doing this. Wow, it's pretty amazing. RIP is going to have to become the "new Billups" and hit clutch free throws late in games, which he did just fine tonight. Blaha and Special K alluded to the fact that RIP has not yet commented on the A.I. trade. RIP better deal with it. This ain't friendship; it's bidness. Good win on the road for the Men in Blue.
Great game tonight! I felt the Pistons played well until the turnovers and big lead went away but overall it was a good game.
Nice win. Going into crunch time only up by 2 and they hit the century mark once again. Could not have done it without that huge game from Prince though. Sheed seemed to be extra motivated. Solid games around from everyone else.
remember that was the game what pistons was supposed to lose when it became clear that Billu...err AI was not available.

How about Ack Attack seeing some meaningful minutes in the fourth quarter. Is MC trying to send a message to his bench guys that if you work hard and stay prepared he will try and find a way to reward you with playing time? I bet even Acker swallowed his gum when MC called his number in the fourth.
