At Utah Feb. 27th, 9:00 PM TV20 Detroit HD, NBALP The Pistons visit the Utah Jazz where the Jazz have a league best 24-3 record at home. Utah currently is holding down the 4th seed in the west, however, they are only 3 games behind the 1st place Lakers, only 2.5 games ahead of the 8th seeded Warriors. Carlos Boozer (21.5 ppg, 10.8 rpg) and Deron Williams (19.3 ppg, 9.7 apg) are no joke!
We will need it CJ...with that impecable home record.. Put a hex on Boozer or Williams just in case we can't contain them. They will be on a back to back flying in from Minnesota, so maybe we catch a break.
Detroit needs to form a chip on their shoulder before this game. And then dare the Jazz to knock it off. Can't think of a team I'd rather see Detroit beat than Utah. Well, Cleveland and Chicago and Los Angeles and San Antonio and Miami and Boston and ... Oh, never mind.
The Pistons will lose 22 games this year(which is at LEAST 7 more) IF THEY WIN 60 games;so winning this game or not means 'squat' to me. Yall got to remember my old saying: IF YOU GO 16-12 IN THE PLAYOFFS, THEY WILL CALL YOU WORLD CHAMPION!!!! So who cares if we go 67-15(see Dallas) or 57-25??? Our goal for the rest of the year, is to prepare for the playoffs... ..nuff said.

The Curse of Okur It is not possible to win. edited to add; Ever notice how the Pistons try really hard against Utah? It's so sad yet funny. It's the only non-contender team i've seen them really get up for.
I will be there with the wife, my brother, his wife, and two buddies of mine. I have made Pistons tshirts with iron-on sheets that I printed logos onto for all of them if they want to wear them, and I will be wearing my blue ringer tee with the old-school Pistons logo on it. We are doing everything possible to prepare for this game. I say the team has the best chance of winning tomorrow than they have had in Utah for years. I'm looking forward to some DEEEETROIT BASKETBALL!!!!!

On another note, Stuckey says he was studying D-Williams' game while he was injured, exam time!!!! Stuckey kinda worries me in this area, I dunno, he can get a little overoccupied with everyone else's game he never figures out how to develop his own.
