At Washington January 30th, 7:00PM TV - (Local) TV 20, NBALP The Pistons close out the month with a back-to-back, on the road , starting in DC to face the Wiz. Let`s see how the Pistons with the best road record in the EC does in this one. I for one am hoping for sweet revenge from last Fridays loss as I will be in the stands for this one.
Also looks like Sheed will be missing quite a few games in the 2nd half of the season due to various technicalities. Good opportunity for the Goons as well.
Exactly........You never know, we could finish with the same record as these losers!!!!!!!! Right DT????
If we let Jamison have another season high night, this game will be long and ugly. Pistons need to go inside more and slow the game down, the Wiz like to run and gun. Can't get into that pace or we will let Arenas shoot and shoot, which is DEFINATELY not a good thing at home. Correct me if I'm wrong but the Hibachi scores almost 30+ a game at home? This would be a big road win, but we need to save our starters for the back to back against Jersey. Jersey has been struggling but has taken some pretty good teams to the wire. Two back to back close games may be too much for our starters right now who just logged heavy minutes monday.
The rematch! The eastern conference team with the best home record vs the eastern conference team with the best road record.........somethings got to give. Another win by the Wiz and they extend the lead to 1.5 games. A win by the Pistons and they go up a half game on the Wiz for the conference lead. Objective: Hold 2 of the big 3 in check defensively, hold the Wiz to under 90 points, keep the TO's under 10, and I say the Pistons win.
That is what I mean. He makes sure to rub snake oil onto every little bruise so that he can take credit for it when it goes away. McDyess hit his butt pretty hard on the floor. I noticed they didn't print what the treatment was for that.
This should give us a realistic view of how good the team is this year... no major injuries... Webb is reaching his comfort zone. Joe should use this game to decide if this is the group he wants to bring to the dance.
Worst officiated game I have seen in some time. I think we got shafted on the sheer volume of miscalls. That bald muscle bound ref is a buffoon.
Man, that line-up of Lindsay, Rip, Tay, Dyess, and Dale Davis has a pretty high average age. I really have no comments on this game. It's amazing to me that DeShawn Stevenson couldn't get anybody to pay him more than the minimum. I thought he did a nice job for the Magic last year, and they didn't want anything to do with him. He looked solid tonight.
one of the weirdest games i've seen all year. got hosed on just about every call, but didn't play with enough energy early. washington gave us all the chances in the world to come back, and we never took advantage. tayshaun had a good game offensively early, but he and the rest of the pistons were defending with their arms at their sides. there was just no effort on defense, and as a result the wizards made a ton of ridiculous shots ... they were too comfortable shooting jumpers.
