Takin' names here. This will be the record for history.
Where is the poll?
i voted all of the above.
I honestly have no clue
I voted paper thin and soft..but then again I thought Rickey Paulding would be an All-Star by now.
Dajuan Summers has the NBA body. 6-8, 240 Like a 14 and 7 guy with 25 min. Can he run? Can he dribble?
Don't you remember me tellin' TaS to wait til the ink is dry ?:nerd2:
I clicked just to click. I don't wanna risk calling my shot either way. He's either gonna be good or bad and I'll claim that I knew the deal all along once it plays out. I'm pullin' for him to be the next Walt [strike]Bellamy[/strike] Bulimic though!
BDL, I put you down for wishy-washy. At least JD drafted some big guys that can run and shoot.
I voted paper thin and soft also, but this was still a great pick by a great man and I thank Joe D for blessing my piddly life with his presence.
Right the last guy you wanted.
Voted....Yes, he'll do a lot of bench [STRIKE]DL[/STRIKE] and [STRIKE]Euro[/STRIKE] then contribute Hopefully Tayshaun can teach him some of his trademark moves. My personal favorite is when he palms the ball in his left hand for a couple of minutes.....builds my anticipation In short, Daye is a semi-project!
I voted for everything, just I'll look smart either way.
2T4, that's still wishy-washy. But a stance well respected by the members at large.
Alright, here we go. True that skinny dudes like Tayshaun and Daye can't stop anyone who wants to power over them. Back in the day when Tay was a great defender, he used his great length to force shooters to drive past him. When they did, he used his long arms and BB IQ to force them to drive around him into one of the Wallaces, who could pick up the slack. I watched multiple allstar Ray Allen for 2 years in Seattle. Ray couldn't stop anybody. Seriously. Darko could drive past Jesus Shuttleworth. (Save your breath Dave, I allready know). The reason he is a valuable player now is because of his scoring ability, and Kevin Garnett backing up his defensive shortcomings. If we can put a big/quick garbage man behind Daye to make up for his lateral quickness, the Pistons can cover his defense. If he can score like he did in college, than he has a future in the NBA.
Great post Wood. That certainly clarifies things for me.
It's all about his work ethic, if he wants to be a solid player in this league he will have to work for it.
Could that be Charlie V. ?
