Barkley actually has a good read on these things, and I know people like to predict who the winner will be, but I wonder who he thought would win it all before the playoffs started?? Even the media out here are doubting the Lakers after last night's loss.

My choice (wish) to win the ring in order of preference would be in this order:

    Nuggets
    Rockets
    Hawks
    Cavs
    Mavs
    Magic
    lakers
    Celtics

Barkley predicts NJ will be fantastic and in the ECF like every year.

DEN can get to the finals if they play LAL; they will not beat HOU. I hope they don't b/c then IMO CLE is winning a title.

Honestly, I feel the same way. Orlando really needs to grow a pair between now and then. Denver is looking like what I wish the Pistons were. "Carmello who?"

A dynamic SF has been our weakness all along.
    -
    Nuggets....- Nuggs
    Rockets ...-Hawks...Wilson
Hawks......- Magic...cause they avoided us, and we own them
    Cavs .......-and that is all
    Mavs
    Magic
    lakers
    Celtics

At this point, I hope it's the Rockets or the Nuggets.

Hope the Nuggets win it all and Chauncey gets the Finals MVP!

This may be a stupid question but can Chauncey's number be retired in Detroit and Denver (assuming they get as good as we were the past six seasons?)

1 in Detroit and 7 in Denver?

I find denver (except for chauncey) to be nauseting. I cannot root for cavs (i am on lebron overload), I cannot root for the lakers (never liked them or kobe), can never root for anything boston (even my son played for the celtics), that leaves houston (yao is out for the playoffs) and orlando..........so basically i have nothing to root for....

Root for Houston. They are giving the Lakers hell.

I can understand rooting for Chauncey. But who in their right mind can root for Mello and Martin?

I have been gravitating to Houston lately. Still think the Lakers will win but it would be nice to see Houston advance into the Finals.

I actually turned off one of the Cav/ATL games because I was so sick of hearing those in-game stories on what a great guy Lebran James is. I would imagine that it probably turns off a lot of people. I am one of the few Piston fans that does not hate him but I can't take all the feel good drama.

If HOU makes it past the LAL, DEN is going to the finals IMO.

It looks like DEN has a real good shot either way. Great trade Joe D! :pout:
