I'm with you here Max. If the sound was off I got no problem watching them play. LeBron's sneer gets to me sometimes, but I guess he's earned it.
I watch Melo a lot more than I watch Billups when the Nugs are playing. I'm not even coming at it from the perspective that they could have drafted him, but I can't help but think how much a guy like that would have helped DET these last few years. He's not a flamboyant player by any means.
But like we said that's the least of our problems. The announcers are close to re-enacting the old SNL skit that the guys from Chicago did about Mike Ditka. Hubie, who would win a hurricane versus LeBron? LeBron Well Hubie, what if the hurricane was named LeBron? Hmmmmm.....
What's scary is he makes more off endorsements than playing abilities. He goes either NY or LA next year.
I just think Melo is kinda a punk. I know he is a good player. So is KMart. I just don't like them. Or that JR guy either. They seem like the sort of fellas who would roll with Antoine Walker in the offseason.
We will see if they can close this game out in Dallas. Looks like Billups has taken it up a notch. It would be great TV to see Denver's carmelo and Lebron matchup, but i don't want to see Lebron make it out of the east. I'mma
I can't forget that one "brawl" he was involved in when he slapped a player and ran backward over the entire length of the court.
Like Amir Johnson? http://www.pistonsforum.com/detroit...starting-lineup-next-season-5.html#post159740
That's where Melo earned the name "Hook and Book". And it wasn't little Nate. Collins and somebody else that would've got knocked out if Melo hadn't called it a nite. Don't try and diminish Melo's fight skills.
He slapped Collins but lil Nate chased him the length of the floor as he back-peddled away. Maybe Carmela has a fear of "little people" or something.
If it was Collins, who was squared-up to Melo, he dropped in a heap. Nate could've gotten in a package shot.
