Compliments doesn't come bigger than this. (except maybe "he has an Sonny Crockett vibe going on" but that's probabably a tougher one for him to pull off) And I'm obv in!
You know who else has been surprisingly good on offense? Charlie Villanueva. I'm not going to start a man love thread, but here are some highlights- 2nd on the team in TS% and eFG% (behind Ben Gordon of course) 2nd on the team in points per minute (behind Ben Gordon) 1st on the team in 3 pointers made (more than twice as many as Daye, who is 2nd) 1st on the team in 3-point percentage at .397 4th in free throws made (highest for a non-guard) Leads the team in blocked shots (tied with Ben Wallace) On the downside for Ben Gordon- He has 14 assists and 14 turnovers on the season (vs 29ast to 7tov for Stuckey) He leads the team in fouls with 24 (2nd highest foul rate behind Monroe) Dead last in rebound rate with 2.4 per 36 minutes. While first by a mile in offensive rating, he is almost last in defensive. I'd say that so far this year, both of these guys are playing exactly like the players that Joe meant to acquire. They light it up and provide an offensive spark. The rest of the team and the system is supposed to make up for their other inadequacies.
