I can't understand how you can get 27 rebounds one night and none on another. I recall Ben getting 22 rebounds the game after he refused to go back in the Orlando game. It seems to me that Ben can play very well when he wants to and not so well when he doesn't. We will see if Chicago can keep him happy enough to keep him motivated. Hopefully not.

Ben must have been on strike during that 0 rebound game. He should have just carried a big picket sign on the court.

27, even 22 rebounds is a spectacular game. I think it is unrealistic for players only to have average or better games. Everyone has an off night.

The only # I care about with Ben is how far he can help the Bulls go. That's the one that pays his salary.

Come on Roscoe, you would have gotten a rebound in that game. Sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way, but it doesn't bounce your way 27 times in one game and 0 in another.

I don't think any lessor of the guy for his protest, but that is what it was.

I will have you know I am a superior rebounder.

I'm not concerned with Ben's protest. Great teams rarely survive a season without one sideshow or another. Tension is to the precarious balance between greatness and self-destruction what lemons are to lemonade.

Ben Wallace is the Rasputin of basketball. The assassination attempts never stop.

so there's only Ben talk if he grabs 20+ boards? This thread has totally calmed down since Ben plays very weak. He has missed some games due to a sore back and there have have been several games he just sucked.
Take last night- 5 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 TO. I ain't mad he isn't here any longer. Next season he'll be even weaker. It's obvious, he's declining heavily.

I wouldn't say 'heavily'. He has had to deal with multiple injuries this season. Would you say J-Rich, Rashard Lewis, etc are in decline because they are injured?

Guys carrying injuries are never going to be playing at their best. I don't think one will be able to pass an informed judgement on Ben until after the season and playoffs are over and taking into account where the Bulls as a team end up.

    Together we rise. . .
With Ben alone, his game went south and so do the Pistons' defense without Ben.

Now that I have League Pass, I caught about 10 combined minutes of the Indy/Chicago game last night.

I saw the Bulls playing zone. It blew my mind until I realized Ben was not on the court.

Re: Big Ben Puts The Cubans in Laundry Dampier

Only the second lost all month for The Mav`s out of 13 games. Also, the second road lost this month out of 8 games.

No biggie for the Mav`s, and I wouldn`t celebrate too much if I were the Bulls..........

Ben still can do it, at least once in a while. I don't miss him. I'd only miss him if he gave 100% in every game (or at least most of them), not only when he feels to. This attitude problem that started last season in Detroit only continues and gets worse.

I think he'll bring it 100% in the play-offs. This DAL game seemed like a preview of play-off Ben (I hope not).

He may not be as good as he once was, but our defense is awful w/o him.

You have read far too many bballjay posts in your lifetime.

...be careful, they can cause long term health effects.

Does anybody know where to find Ben's career winning percentage with and without the afro?

Either it is better because he does it when he's pumped and ready to give maximum energy...

Or it is worse because he only pulls it out against good teams as an extra booster.

It is highly likely that this stat does not exist.
