It is interesting that over 2/3 of the people voting so far would not trade Monroe even though he has yet to suit up for a game.

Or that nobody is opposed to dumping past heroes Hamilton and Prince.

Or that only one person would keep the two big acquisitions Dumards made last year when he traded one player (Capp Spayce) for two players (Gordon and Villenueva). That makes me sick to think about even though I really don't give a damn.

BECAUSE he hasn't yet suited up for a game is precisely the reason that through process of elimination, I'd keep G-Money. He MIGHT just turn out to be a guy that we don't want to trade.

    Everyone else? (besides White)
I've seen 'em play and I'd ship 'em in a heartbeat if the deal was a good one.

Absolutely BDL. I guess I misinterpreted the question. I was thinking more along the lines of which two would we want to keep out of the bunch. I would absitively posilutely trade any of them.

In the history of the Pistons I don't think there is anyone I wouldn't have traded except Isiah although a few would be tough to let go of. I was pretty attached to most of the Bad boys core.

Also interesting that 1/3 would feel OK about trading a first round big man without seeing what he can do.

    Potential.

I didn't select anyone because I don't think we have a single person who is "untouchable".

Another way to look at the question is, "Who are your favorite 2 players?".

Ben Wallace is the only Piston that I'm emotionally vested in anymore.
...Tayshaun too to a certain extent but not enough to bum me out if he was traded for someone with bigger luggage.

If Tayshaun gets traded I'd like to see the small suitcase photo on the pf frontpage.

If the Pistons lose their first 6 games, I'd like to see the photo on the PF frontpage with the appropriate caption..:stirthepot:

It's a question of value and realistic trade opportunity. Obviously, if the Pistons could get, for example, Chris Paul for Greg Monroe straight up, then yes, I would. But I think he'll be underpaid this year, same as Stuckey. Obviously nobody on this team is the best player in basketball, so you have to consider what kind of value per dollar the player brings to the team.

Jerebko is also a great choice for the above reason, but I think he's reached his peak and is probably at max trade value.

Can I not vote for Greg Monroe twice?
