Mr. D: Isiah, you're a grown man now. You can't keep riding your big wheel around our offices.

Isiah: I'll never do it again. I promise.

Mr. D: That's what you said last time.

I can only hope that this interview was faster than his HOF acceptance speech tonight. He was all over the map and no one was brave enough to go up there and yank the mic from him. :sssh:

That is a great interview. So refreshing to hear the blunt truth.

I'm glad the refs bother him as much as they do me. It must be a strange feeling to own the whole operation and have to sit through music that you hate during the game.

The whining starts at the top! LOL. It's deserved though. The refs are awful. I like that he feels that way too. It's nice that he's one of those owners that's actually aware and involved with what's going on with the team/NBA.

Totally agree...candid. I only read the highlights. Did they ever talk about Laimbeer?

But it sounds like he will never be Pistons coach as long as Davidson owns the team. "I'm fine with him". Oh well...

This was the most interesting answer to me. Davidson thought it was Larry Brown that screwed up the Pistons Finals loss to the Spurs in 2005.

It doesn't look like it and I have a feeling that
    is a big reason why.

I also really liked his take on Sheed. It was spot on in my opinion. :pound:

Why would that be interesting after BillD stated he had a hard-on for LB even before they won in 04? Considering the timeline BillD laid out, he started hating LB about the same time Sheed got here.

Talk amongst yourselves...I'm feeling a little verklempt after reading that :kleenex:

He really has been the complete opposite of the Fords but he will stick with some people that he likes.

Yeah, what was this "behavior" that Isiah couldn't give up?
