What about signing guys like Hot Sauce or 50 from the And 1 Tour? I don't think they'd have to give up anyone of consequence to get them and 50 really likes to play in the paint.
That is actually a great idea. Especially for a team that gets a lot of GT minutes. Would be very entertaining.
I like you too, but I meant this guy. Grayson Boucher aka "The Professor" YouTube - The Professor: AND1 Volume 8 Mix He's like an AI with Nash put together imo.
Who would you rather have on the Pistons, Horace Jenkins or THE PROFESSOR...essor... essor... or... r...
I fully expect Rip, Chuck or Stucky to try and throw it off some guys forehead any game now with the amount of dribbling that they're doing lately. I think it would be hilarious if Chuck crossed up a defender next game and instead of taking it to the hole, he just hucked the ball into the stands as the shot clock expires.
I was leaving work today walking out by myself and I got this image and the Nice Pass in my head and broke out laughing in front of 20 or so people.
Just to put it in perspective... and kick a dead horse... since Aurora is taking a break and won't go for my throat... Billups/ Iverson +240/ -41.......surprisingly, only a 281 point difference... or 3.7/gm. .504/ .435 eFG 371/ 251 FT makes... wasn't AI supposed to shoot more FT's than CB? 444/ 259 ast........wasn't AI supposed to get easy buckets for all his teammates after driving? 185 more assists for Chaunce. 141/ 123 passing and dribbling turnovers. Only 18 apart. AI is superior in this category alone. Gross turnovers not adjusted for minutes! And above all, wasn't CB supposed to be on the decline and AI supposed to be a warrior? Who would have thought that CB would be the more durable workhorse this year? Back tweak? We talkin bout a back tweak? Here are 2 predictions from before this season:
a) Billups is a starter. AI is not. b) Billups plays lots of minutes. AI does not. c) Billups has been healthy. AI has not. d) Billups teammates have played well. AI's teammates have stunk it up. e) Billups moved into a position that was needed. AI did not. Most of those stats are meaningless.
Most of the points you just made are meaningful. We got rid of a guy who plays a lot of minutes, starts, stays healthy, makes his teammates play better, and who owns the most important position. My point is just that the things that we were longing for: points in the paint, getting to the line, driving and dishing for easy assists, having a superstar who can come through at the end of games by getting his shot off one on one, and so on.... none of those things were even close to coming true. It was false hope.
