In his post-game after game 5 Billups said either team Clev or Wash would be exciting but playing the Wiz would be more exciting given that the team lost 3 reg season games to the Wiz.

I am with BBBBBilups! Let`s erase any hope that the Wiz may have. It is better that way.

It will be best for all involved.

We want the Wiz, the NBA wants the Cavs featuring Lebron.

Either way it should be a helluva lot entertaining than the first round.

Like the video games - each level gets harder. Wiz are kind of like the Bucks just a little better. But the Pistons have a chip against this team so it could be a sweep.

I think the Wiz will be more challenging than people think. We'll beat them, but they will win a couple of games. I think we would split the first two and then the next two with them. Then, Detroit would take care of business. That's IF they get by Cleveland.

Oh, the Wiz will be very challenging. :eyebrows:
    I'm hoping for Cleveland.
But, if we do get the Wiz, I believe we can win the series. However, they might get 2 or 3 games. It will be a lot of work. Unless...our defense steps up every night. But, as much as I Love the Pistons, they do like to take a night or two off. :ohwell:

Gotta take a Wizz... but the Cavs have grown up enough a milking.
I think Cleveland is the easier draw... they have a hard time defending the Pistons... not enough mobility on the front line.

Well, looks like we will not get the Wiz due to their custom of not playing defense.

The Wiz are a poor mans, EC version of the Phoenix Suns. Their wins come from outscoring you.

The Cav`s will finish them off on Friday. Now I will hear IF the Wiz could have played the Pistons.....damn!!!!!!

I'm rooting for the cavs because I like watching lebron play. It looks like we probably will face the cavs because they're up 3-2 with lebron's game winner

Mr. Big Shot has the right instinct

i think Chauncey's got the right idea here. better for our guys to be all fired up to even the score with someone than possibly going through the motions. i know LeBron is potent, but with our defense playing well i think we could control him, but chasing after all those shooters on the Wiz would be more challenging and exciting for our team.

besides as I said in an earlier post, i'm not in any hurry unlike the NBA to see LeBron's team marching through the next decade or so. we've got plenty of that to look forward to, but you know they will always have to go through us. i think in the years to come that the big rivalry in the East will be Detroit vs. the James gang (whoever they might be each year) as long as LeBron stays there.

    GO PISTONS.

"The James Gang." That one was a kicker for me. When I first heard the TNT guy say that, I was like, "What the ....?"
    WoW! What's next?

Officials are gonna piss everybody off if Lebron makes it to the second round.

I disagree. You never say that you want to play a specific team. It's just bulletin board material for the next round.

There is nothing that can pe posted on the Wiz or Cav`s bulletin board that would inspire them to beat the Pistons.

Chauncey knows what he is doing, he would never say that about a team that would be a challenge to their title hopes.

Either of those two teams could beat the Pistons. That's why they play the games. All it takes is an injury, a momentum change, some stupid basketball, etc. and the run could be over. Don't forget what the Bucks did to the Pistons in game #3.

Nobody thought the Red Wings season would be over right now...

I don`t doubt at all that the Cav`s or Wiz would beat the Pistons once, maybe even twice in a playoff series, however 4 out of 7 times, I don`t think so.

Only a major injury or two would give either of those teams a chance to eliminate Detroit.

From what I've heard Chauncey wants the Cavs so that he can hang out with Damon Jones.
