Why don't they just count the candles on the cake on Bismack's next birthday?

    How's it going Cloud?

Biyombe isn't 7'3 with a neary 8 foot wingspan like Mutombo. Biyombe isn't outplaying Alonzo Mourning in the Pivot at Georgetown. I'm not sure that you can compare the two. This kid looks like a poor man's Nene.

I am in no way comparing these two from a skill standpoint, only pointing out that Deke was supposedly much older than stated and his body held up for quite some time.

I guess a much better comparison would be Ben Wallace, if we are looking strictly at body type, though style of play might also factor in considering that Ben was practically a non-factor offensively and predominantly a producer of rebounds and blocked shots.

Ben didn't enter the league until he was 22. He wasn't putting up numbers that made him very relevant until he was 24.

He didn't start playing for us until he was 26.

When he was 31 he was still considered to be worthy of a top tier contract.

Now sure, alot of other things would have to fall into place for this kid to be anywhere near Ben Wallace's shoelaces; however, the framework is there for him to be that type of player.

If Bismack Biyombe did turn out to be that type of player, everyone that passed on him because he might be 22 is going to be kicking themselves 4 years from now when some lucky team is rocking his jersey for at the very least another 6 years.

Biyombe is intriguing, if nothing else. NBADraft.net has him currently going at #25. Perhaps Joe D should bring in Darko and Biyombe for some private workouts together.

    Currently at #7 is JJJJJIIIIIIMMMMMMMEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Darius Morris is at #33, the Pistons other spot.

Who knows if Bismack Biyombe is going to be bad, good or whatever?

Not me. I'm most definitely not trying to promote anybody (though if we weren't so guard heavy I might express my like for Shelvin Mack).

The only thing certain IMO after years of watching this stuff unfold is that at least one "sure thing" will end up being a big bust, and at least one person that was off the radar will end up being kind of a big deal.

All I'm doing right now is hoping Joe has a better idea of the haves and have nots than he has in the past, and also for some lottery luck so he can pick the player he covets the most.

Morris has another year to play at UM...he NEEDS another year of seasoning, [STRIKE]and beating up on MSU...[/STRIKE]

Why draft Jimmer when we have Stuckey....

Actually, I think Jimmer is probably more like a slower Ben Gordon.

The Jimmer just needs to put on his special shoes. Then the Jimmer will be faster than Ben Gordon.

IMO, one great standout game does not make clutch.

    Mack is pure clutch.

He's a PG/SG version of Chuck Pearson as far as I'm concerned. Right down to the potential attitude.

He's gonna make people pay for not drafting him.

I'll give you a pass on your like for the Jimmer, if you give me a pass for my like for the Mack.

You don't get the NCAA season scoring title from having ONE standout game. More power to the Mack. Just know that the Jimmer is the Mack Daddy. :)

Actually, I think Jimmer is probably more like a better looking Kyle Korver.

What you do when the game is on the line is more important than what you accumulate when your opponents might be going through the motions.

I keep thinking that Jimmer is the next two-time NBA champion Adam Morrison :) and not sure if he is worthy of a # 7 pick.

At #7, its need to be a big or a potential go to guy like Kemba....
