That should be a decent battle between he, John Wall and our own Rodney Stuckey for Rookie of the Year.

With our luck; this is what would happen to our selection if we go the number one pick. Or worse yet would be the Oden situation.

Yeah I saw that earlier on the Bleacher report Blake Griffin to Undergo Season Ending Surgery

and I carried him on my fantasy team the whole season waiting for him to comeback...:yellowprison:

Once again The Clipper Curse hits them

Oh well, I hope the Clips can still play well enough to work their way through the bottom tier to possibly grab that 8th spot.

Come on how can be this injury so serious?I had the same injury and the doctor said at worst situation you will need an operation(the same Blake is having) and you will be out like 2 months and after one more month you could play.So we are talking about max 4 months out.

Unless they make it to the playoffs, he may as well let it heal and be in tip top shape for next summer and fall.

Did your team have you under contract for 5+ million a year?

I think that Amir Johnson might be in the ROY mix as well. It will be interesting to watch all of these guys battle it out in the Vegas Summer League.

    I know he is.

I saved you the hassle of having to (again) suggest that we draft Gregor in another thread.

How many years has it been since you first scouted the guy and demanded that Joe at least take a good look at him? Sometimes it disgusts me that the Pistons front office dismisses us as being "casual internet fans".

He made a fantastic play on the play he got injured though. He got a block on one end and then a power-dunk a step inside the free throw line 5 seconds later.

The battle for rookie of the year could be interesting next year. Hopefully Griffin doesn't suffer another knee injury like Oden did this past season though.

I have followed him since he was a young last name.

Personally I think his name might have caused some initial confusion but I think his jersey would have been a big seller.

I kept telling Joe "That last name can really play".
