8 teams x 6 players = 48 picks. We are allowing 24 hours per pick? So, worst case scenario is that the draft is completed by around the end of April?

    Sorry... totally forgot.

I'm going to start the draft with the obvious pick... Michael Jordan

No player in history has managed to combine an all-world talent with an almost sociopathic desire to win to the extent that he has. I could go on and on, and in truth, there were two other guys I would even consider (Lebron and Wilt), but ultimately I came to realize that only thing that would make me reconsider this pick is his ability to play with other superstars, and in the end, that wasn't enough to go move away from what he brought to the table night in and night out (his foray into minor league baseball notwithstanding).

World class jerk, but a world-class player.

First two picks go as expected. Let's please remember to - - - copy and paste the entire text, to write your selection's name into your lineup (in addition to the draft slot), and to remove your selection from the big board - - - though (trust me, it will make things more simple as we progress).

Can I suggest we at least wait until the end of a round to update the big board? It's difficult to deal with all that text in every post, especially for mobile viewers. It's definitely a first-world problem, but it was difficult enough for me just to copy and past the draft list for the first round into my post.

I'll just take care of it at the end of rounds then I suppose. Hadn't thought about that.

He hasn't visited the forum in over a week. Andre Drummond or Jose Calderon?

Since I plan to draft Calderon in the second round, I'd prefer if we give him Drummond.

If you want, I'll act as an "autodraft" for anyone who can't pick within the 24 hour timeframe.
If this is the case, Hita selects Da BIG "O". (...no, not Olden Polynice)

Thanks for the offer. I say if a guy misses the 24-hour deadline once, we give him all current Pistons for the rest of the draft and just skip his slot. Otherwise, we are wasting an entire week waiting for him. Plus, an "auto-draft" might screw the next guy in line over by "stealing" his pick.
