ESPN is reporting that the Pistons are going to pursue Carlos Boozer for next season. I think if we keep Sheed and ditch Iverson it's a good choice. Weigh in fans...

No way would I want Boozer playing for the pistons. He might be a very good player but I think characterwise he does not fit in with the pistons. He is selfish.

Based on what happened with Cleveland and now his recent comments, I would not touch him with a 10 ft. pole.

    Let him go to Miami.

oh forgot one thing. I would rather give that money to Chris Bosh, if he wants to come over.

    "All right..."

Who needs the bastion of moral character on a professional basketball team? Its not like the guy has a criminal record.

EDIT: In all likelihood, Chris Bosh is staying in Toronto. The Raptors will give an arm and a leg to keep him, and on the other side of the pillow, it seems as Bosh wants to stay too.

Do you make a pitch at him? Sure you do. Its just probably not going to happen.

Actually things aren't so good with the Raptors right now, and Bosh as well. He's getting into it with the fans in the press; upset about the booing. He basically said it's good that the Raps are going on the road b/c if he wanted to get booed then he'd rather it be at an opposing arena.

Boozer/Sheed; I'm for it, but not if Boozer demands insane money; which he likely will.

Idk, Boozer played horribly in the playoffs last year. The man could not hit a shot within 15 to save his life or more importantly his teams. Dont get me wrong I think he is a good player but not the type of player that's going to constitute the change WE are all looking for. In all that I would rather wait and try to see if we could get Bosh.

I think someone should start a new Carlos Boozer thread every day for the rest of the month.

Boozer played hurt for over two months following the ASB. Don't just jump the gun because he went on a spell (and it WAS a bad spell indeed).

He'll contribute every night. Even on his off shooting nights, he grabs his boards.

I don't think someone should do it. I think YOU should do it.

So that's it. You're nominated by executive order.

We'll call it the Daily Boozer, or the Boozer Herald.

What I love of Boozer is he gets you the rebounds. Something this team lacks a lot. But getting Boozer is going to cost a lot of coin.

I rather have Memo back in my opinion.

I like Boozer. But for a PF he averages under a block a game-- to be fair so does Bosh. But Boozer never took me for being much of a defender. But a player with his track record (the whole Cleveland thing) and making statements like: "No matter what, I'm going to get a raise regardless." (Salt Lake Tribune) Does not sit well with me. I'd rather have a Bosh. Also, Boozer seems a bit more injury prone.

    Tay was like,

"Damn, I knew that suit looked better on you!"

    and

    "Remember the Olympics dawg?"

    and when he was pointing,

"Yeah man, Mr. D parks the jet over there..."

Boozer himself, puts up pretty pedestrian #'s against the great D teams, BOS included. PP however doesn't shoot lights out VS UTAH; whether that's testament to the Jazz as a whole and how much it has to do with Boozer; i don't know. KG shoots well against him though.

Last seasons logs; 1 win for UTAH/1 win for BOS; small sample size but hey for what it's worth.

Tim Duncan absolutely kills Boozer in the PO's though after putting up KG-like #'s in the reg season so maybe a different animal ?

I think Booz was looking for the store where Tay bought the suitcase he had at the Olympics.
