I only cry at the end of movies now, not when people say mean things to me. That's what I call emotional growth.
Ok. But what if you were watching a movie about your life and at the very end this guy named Darth said something mean to your character? Would you cry then? I'm just asking...
Come'on man. Really? Personally, Joe can sign Satan if he leads the Pistons to the Championship as far as I'm concerned. This nice guy thing is overrated IMO. They rarely win and sooner or later even those cats tip their hands and show their behinds, meanwhile the NBA is trying to legalize 2 steps after the dribble so DWade can get 7 or 8. Pretty soon these "stars" will be exempt from dribbling after passing half court, and in order to win a championship the Pistons will need one of them, regardless of their stance on child support.
I think it would be nothing shy of AWESOME if Joe signed Satan. That guy can get hot from deep! I can just see Mason's starting linup intro: "At power forward, wearing the Piston #666, ...from hell .........SA SA SA SATAN!"
Nice guys are overrated, but choking is a whole other story. I'm telling you guys it is too easy to get in Bosh's head, and affect his game whether it's something on the court and off it seems by this article. He lets it filter into his game.
Sheed is not affected by other players (other than Darko). He has a personal ongoing battle with the referees. And ironically plays better after he gets a technical. Bosh crumbles under pressure. There is no way he does what Sheed did in Game 6 of the finals 2005, or Game 7 of the ECF. Completely different things IMO. I'd rather see someone get mad, then shrink. I remember that entire NJ series, and how Bosh basically admitted that he was under pressure and extremely nervous and he played like it.
Or everybody's else's players are so much better than our. The grass is always greener on the other side. A jump-shooting big (Bosh) is not equal to a jump-shooting big (Sheed).
I'd rather have Kaman or Bogut than Bosh. Bosh is a piece at best, not the main man that will lead us to a championship. If we are just getting a piece to a puzzle I would rather pay less and end up with a better low post presence like Kaman. It's probably the way to go, since I doubt 'the man" will ever play in a Pistons uniform. That, and last I heard Satan is locked up with a long term contract.
