If we don't manage to win it, I imagine we will be regaled with more tales of how Chancey Billups healed the lepers and fed the masses with only 7 fish and 7 loaves of bread.

I'm still hoping Joe can still pull off a trade: AI ($22) for Billups ($11) + Nene ($9.6) + Kleiza ($1.8).

We would get an all-star PG, a true C, and a great backup SF.

Den would get AI back. Maybe give him a different # and sell some more jerseys to the die hard collectors.

Well hopefully the Pistons can start to play better on these nationally televised games, because they've been pretty poor on these (as well as Sunday afternoon games).

Amazingly, the Pistons are 1-4 against the Celtics at The Palace since the start of last season....

Lets reverse that disturbing trend tonight!

    Go Pistons!

Look, this is how I see this.

We have no business winning this game. The Celts make us look twice as bad as we really are. Or half as good. However you want to measure it.

They are bullies, and we tend to rollover for them. Sheed, Rip and Tay. Ai just lookd flat out confused, and Stuckey doesn't handle being aggressively defended at the perimeter well.

We don't need passing, rotations or shot making in this game. We need the will and desire to shove back on the bullies.

If this game isn't close at the half it is over. If it is, I like our chances.

    HQ, I'm just sayin'

Tonight, there will either be a bizarre euphoria, or the crushing complaints in chat.

I wanted to remind people to keep some perspective. The Celts have given every indication that they are better than us.

If we lose, that's really no big surprise.

If we win, it is big, but doesn't necessarily mean we are back in the hunt for a title.

Let's hope for the best, and pray for the rest.

I'm not looking for us to win. I'm looking to see if we can prove that we can actually stay in the game against BOS with this new line-up. Attitude (and coaching) was a problem prior which so far hasn't been fixed, and now we've added a new element. If the score is close, it's a success.

Curry please put Tay or AA on Rondo.

Should have just let AI go on the last play. Bad TO. Allen can't defend AI.

Other than the defense was MUCH better after the initial run. It's good to see Rip/AI co-existing and being able to play well together for the most part. And other than that little spurt of Stuck on PP, No real small ball!!

I disagree. I thought it was pure genius when Curry took the timeout, called a play that didn't work, and let Boston set up their defense, while taking the ball away from our two best short clock players.

    lol

Dice and Max really played like Men tonight. Great D from Sheed. The guards also played well. Celtics just outmuscled the Pistons.

We need an enforcer and another rebounder to join McDyess.
