You are correct. We had 3 Captains though right - CB, Rip and Tay. Is Sheed a captain too? Its always been weird for us since we never had that one standout player.

I am changing my pick and going with Rip. It will be Rip last.

I want to remind everyone that there will be a postgame chat, with call in's from forum members as linked at the top of the forum in red (podshow).

It's hosted on a site called TalkShoe, and The Low from PF.com will be hosting, as he has for the last several shows. So far, callers in have been

    linwood
    max
    kgreg
    myself
    dumars4ever
    warthog
    latinoking
    aurora
    TheeTFD
    AND
    Explosivity!
(I might be forgetting someone else, sorry!)

Personally, I like listening to the postgame, but it is even better when its people you are somewhat familiar with, and in PF.com style, intelligent without gimmicks or excessive histrionics as callers on talk radio are prone to engage in.

We invite everyone to listen, the show is available later via podcast (hence PODSHOW) but live we have a text chat, and of course call in discussion.

So please join us. I think you'll really enjoy what The Low has been up to. And hey, pick up the phone and let's hear what you have to say about AI, CB and the Boston game.

    Halftime notes;

Rip's offense has gone to hell.

I never realized how much Sheed's offense would be affected by the lack of pick n roll w/ Chauncey.

Who knew Arron would have it worse under Curry than Flip . . .

I thought this was supposed to be exciting?

The Palace looks exactly the same in terms of attendance today as it did all season.

The Piston's offense is so high octane, i had to turn the game off.

Rasheed and Rip can't pee in the ocean.

Meanwhile our starting POWER forward has no defensive rebounds whatsoever.

    I blame Iverson

...edit- now that the games over our starting PF will fill the stat sheet. Wonderful.

Got Flip? So much for Curry doing things differently. Invisible in the PIP, Sheed hanging outside along the perimeter jacking up shots. Rip can't hit the broadside of a barn. Boston's bench kicked our arse. This is the same jump shooting team we have been complaining about. I know it's early in the season but is it possible that our bench is over-rated in terms of talent? Stuck for example has had a lot of hype but shouldn't he be further along in his development for the supposed player he is? The lack of draft success along w/ the record of backing away from quality FA is hurting this team.

Nothing new, Boston did the same thing to us last year. We couldn't defend them in the paint. Now that Dyess is gone, we've only got a couple of inexperienced bigs and Sheed. No prayer of beating Boston as is.

OK where do we start?? We got our arses kicked!! 35% shooting for the Pistons and KG and Pierce only scored 15 points between them and we still lost by 22:mad:

Tay is the only player who has showed up this season and right now the only bonified all star out there (and paying dividends on my fantasy team:eyebrows:)

AI .....well it will take a few more games as players are still in awe and our guys are not ready to handle the passes from him when he is double teamed. The Celtic defense basically kept AI out of the paint and off the FT line (2-4 shooting)
Rip and Sheed :toilet: 4 out of 25 shooting and Sheed made 3 of his shots in semi-garbage time. Sheed got 11 boards, but seem afraid to bang with the Celtics on offensive end launching 8 three pointers.

Somebody in chat said Rip should be traded....not yet, but give it 20 more games and if we are 13-13 I would consider it.

Max was a mess -26 ,,,,0-5 shooting, being out hustled and out boarded. We need somebody to help out when Amir is in foul trouble and so far neither Kwame or Max have been up to task. Fabio was a bright spot the first three games, but the last three he has slunk back to what he was last year, Jarvis Hayes with longer hair :afro:

Not sure what happen to Stuckey, but at least he wasn't getting embarrassed out there...and no he would not have saved us if he had. (hope he is Ok and makes the trip out here).

MC needs to get both Bynum and Afflolo more involved as Bynum was our second leading scorer behind Tay and he and spellcheck outscored Sheed/Rip 15-13..

    edited to add;

AI needs to just stop thinking and drive to the basket. Take a lesson from WB.
