I wonder if that preseason game between the Vikes and the 49ers was already on the schedule? A lot of hype for four plays....The announcers probably talked about him for the whole game....

I couldn't decide if I wanted to watch it or not. I kept changing my mind. My boss is a Viking fan and begged me to watch it. Even offered to raise my salary. I thought about doing a video at work to let everyone here know where I was at in my desision making process. I was even considering starting a new thread and taking a poll.

I watched a rerun of "Everybody Loves Raymond". At least he's a sportswriter...

Why are the Vikings trying to kill this [STRIKE]guy[/STRIKE]old man?

Dude has two fractures on his ankle and the team is still trying to play him next Sunday. I know he is trying to set some iron man record, but it's as if they have no other QB's on the team....

At 2-4, it's obvious they are struggling with him at the helm..maybe they should consider Jackson and let Favre heal...

    I'm no doctor, but...

as I understand it, his leg bone really isn't fractured per se, but the tendons pulled parts of the bone off. So, the crack won't spread or get worse.

He just needs to quit being such a wimp and let it all hang out there for his last season.

As my 5-year-old nephew would say - "That is supergross".

Re: Brett Favre er I mean Shaq finally Retires

Shaq retires via Twitter.....if he had just done that in January, then Celtics would have retained Perkins and may have stopped the Heatle train,

Shaq announces retirement: Orlando fan reaction - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

Did not want build Shaq's legacy by giving him his own thread, so I put in the Favre thread....:)
