There's a fine line between trusty and rusty.

Yeah, Lee looks like you're ready for some heavy duty action. I didn't know what to make of this team, they jumped out 10 and 4 and stumbled then clawed their way to the 8th seed. Perfect

Merged schedule thread into series thread!
Anyone have the playoff roster? Is Amir on it? Is he active?
http://www.pistonsforum.com/detroit...ayoff-roster-size-15-amir-playoff-roster.html The active roster is usually not set until 30 mins before gametime.
Not very impressive for Piston pedigree to say the least. Letting the Magic shoot almost 60% for the whole game is definitely not Piston pedigree. I don't care if they led the whole game. Also the starters played way too many minutes. A win, but a disappointment. DMC had his best game against the Pistons. He will be concern before the series is done.
GAME 1 DETROIT 100, ORLANDO 92: Pistons almost let victory slip away
Some thoughts from the game: Pistons won the game. The effort wasn't always there, but it was enough. Pistons are still soft down the middle The best Pistons penetrator was sitting on the bench the entire game Pistons didn't get any "home" whistles The game never looked in danger from the get go Magic can't stop us when it counts Darko still doesn't get it Howard needs to learn to shoot free throws (he should consider the fact that Ben Wallace is on the bench during the deciding moments of the games because he can't shoot free throws) Sheed needs to continue doing what he was doing in game 1, but he also needs more playing time I would love to see Amir vs Darko matchup (probably not just I) Delphino looked good, he's finding his game, now he just needs to keep it up
Orlando Sentinel - Darko To Play But Not Happy by
Weird article. I can't imagine submitting that to my editor for submission. But, the gist of it is that Darko feels like he is being pressured to play injured. There is also a similar article out there about how Grant Hill feels like the Pistons made him play injured in the Playoffs right before we traded him. He sounds bitter too.
According to this Orlando Sentinal guy, Darko made all of the following statements in the same interview. But he just presents some scattered quotes out of context. Memo to Mr. Schmitz: just because you call it a "blog" doesn't mean it's it's a good idea to post something that makes absolutely no sense.
Maybe it's all Darko's doings? He was like that when he was here - every five minutes he came up with something different completely changing the story.
Do you think he's playing mind games with the Pistons? Trying to establish himself as an irrational lunatic? It can be a good strategy in poker.
My Texas Hold'Em strategy involves spontaneously bawling. You've never seen people more weirded out.
My son is 21... he doesn't make much sense either... and he speak a da english :^)
Imagine giving him $4Mill cash and shipping him off to a non-English speaking country when he was 18!
While you're at it play a game against men with different rules... .... every time you touch the ball the crowd gets all goofy.... your coach plays you once a week and changes the style you're comfortable with...and btw, you better dominate being the #2 pick and all... yeah that's a recipe for success.
Brian Schmitz, Orlando Sentinel: The Magic head into the playoffs as the veritable 16th-seed, but here's how I see it: Doom, yes. Broom, no. Here's why: The Pistons don't sweep people. The Pistons haven't swept ANY team in ANY series since ... the 1989-90 season. They won the first three games in a best-of-five series against the Indiana Pacers. That's over 27 series, spanning 12 years. Even this latest edition of Pistons -- the group that won a title in 2004 -- hasn't pulled off a sweep. It either lets down or gets distracted or Rasheed Wallace finds the refs more interesting.
