The Nets are pissed off after losing the Big Apple derby. They're gonna take it out on us. Unfortunately I foresee us on the wrong end of a blowout.

Well if the Pistons find away to lose the game in Brooklyn to the Nets on Friday, the 10-0 Wolverines should represent Michigan the next day in at that same Barclays Arena and pull off a victory over Bielien's former team West Virginia. Go Pistons and Go Wolverines!!!

At 20 games, it looks like the Pistons are on line for about the 7th pick again.

I had high hopes for this season but the following reasons are why I don't think it will turn around.

    1) There is no one who can handle the ball. In crunch time, ball handling is crucial.

    2) There are hardly any shooters on the team. Good teams can bomb away from many angles.

    3) There is no point guard (see reason 1)

    4) The team has very little veteran assistance (Tay once in a while, JMax from time to time)

    5) The team is incredibly inexperience and therefore inefficient.

    6) Monroe has not stepped up to be a budding star.

    7) Knight shows promise as a shooter but not as a play-maker.

    8) The coach manages games by formula and does not sense the flow of a given game.

Thanks, Slippy. I wish it were a bad list but I don't see how this current team can overcome some of these problems.

Add to the above, the lack of perimeter defense. I watched Golden State and Miami and you don't see the easy run ins to the hoop in crunch time.

The Pistons need to draft a point guard and or a scorer while also going into the free agent market. So I don't think it is that bad to be out of a top five pick. The Pistons should be able to get a good player.

Plus DET is one of the least athaletic teams in the L. It is hard to believe they could even be considered a playoff team until they upgrade their shooting and athleticism.

The Pistons are light years from figuring out who to run a play for at the end of game.

What we lack in athleticism, we make up for with our lack of speed and lack of skill.

I wonder if I could hijack this thread and turn it into one about vacuum cleaners. We bought a great one.

Dude, If Mrs. BDL un-wrapped a new Dyson on Chistmas, she'd straight-up punch me in the grill, right in front of our children!
I'd look like a toothless Bob Probert in the family photo for next year's holiday card.

...I was just testing you guys.
...You were the only one who passed CJ.
...Mrs. CJ is a lucky gal.
