It happened a few times to Billy Martin...
Brian Hill was fired by the Magic back in '97.
Never. Just ask Billy Martin and George Steinbrener. NEVER in a million years!
Billy Martin had at least 4 separate stints with the Yanks. He would always fight with Steinbrenner.
He also coached the Tigers in the 70's and had a pretty good year.
What a strange career he had.
Isn't Phil Jackson on his second stint.
I'd root for another team
Yes, but he left the Lakers of his own accord, not because he got fired. Same with Nellie leaving Golden St. in the mid-90s, if I remember right.
I wasn't sure about Nellie. I know he ran headlong into CWebb and a serious losing streak that last year in Golden State and left about halfway through the season.
One Word: Championship
The current Magic coach.
What is this question? Should we have stuck with Carlisle? Probably he was a good coach.
Thing about LB is that after his team peaks he runs it into the ground. We would be .500 now, 7th seed or something. In last nights game he would not have developed Maxiel or played Davis at all to have them ready. Would have thrown Prince at PF and played Rip 48 mins.
He didn`t get fired though....
