    I just wanted to drop in and say that I appreicate when Carlos posts. It's like having our own international scout on the forum. Great insight.

    I agree with Carlos also, Marc Gasol or Gortat could be a legitamate center at a value price. That is a rare thing in the NBA.

    Re Marc Gasol...

    The kid had a great year in Memphis. He made $3mm but performed at the level of a player who made $9mm. He's under contract for two more years and Memphis is under the cap, so I'm not sure why they would move him.

    Darko is their most expensive player at $7.5mm and in the last year of his contract. Someone will take him off their hands just for the expiring contract. (No, not Detroit.)
