I think LeBron stole the 2-story walk-in closet and the in-home barber shop ideas from my house...

Since Labron will have a 2,000 square foot, two story closet, maybe he has some room for a few pairs of Starbury's...........:sssh:

LeBron is a shoe whore. At least DWade went with the classic and resurgent Converse.

LBJ was bought and sold by Nike early in the game.

I have heard of people with foot fetishes, but a shoe whore? that sounds really kinky and stinky.

A Shoe Whore is someone who owns so many shoes, that they make their young children COUNT THEM when they misbehave...........

Men just shouldn't be that interested in shoes. If they are, they probably shouldn't admit it.

It seems to be a growing problem though.

What is most disturbing out LeBrain is that he seems to define how much self-esteem he has by what kind of shoes he pimps.

When confronted about kids in sweatshops making his expensive shoes, he sidestepped comment. He's in a position of social power to take a stand and affect change.

The trappings of celebrity can be leadership and responsibility.

What does LeBrain really care about? Does he read books to small children for the NBA's Read to Achieve program? Is he even capable of reading?

According to the Yahoo article, his stated goal is to become the first billionaire athlete.

That was my goal for awhile too, but then I changed it to attending as many summer BBQ's as possible. To each his own.

Henry Abbott's True Hoop blog had this excerpt from Newsday:

Mr. Marbury, you may make me a fan yet.

Marbury is awesome. I've always liked him as a person. I live in NY, and he's extremely active in numerous organizations. The amount of work he does in the community, and his social awareness are so different than the "typical" max athlete. He's intelligent, and actually a pretty good speaker.
