Coach Dennis Green is struggling to right the Cards ship. He can't settle on a starting QB. But isn't afraid to make changes. Green and Wayneno had some memorable games back in the 90s when Green coached the Minny Vikes. If Mooch and Joel can't get over these guys, peeyou. And don't think it will be easy, the Cards have come to town a couple of times recently and taken the W. Green will have his players hungry. What will Mooch do?

The Lions are floundering as usual. The only way they can win is with the D scoring 1+ TD's a game...

S**tcan the Fords, Millen, and Mooch...this team needs rebuilding from the top>down.

    Seriously though...

they have to lose a couple..then rally to go on a streak...just to lose an obviously winnable game.

I've been on this ride so many times, I have the turns memorized.

Ditto. Wake me up when the Lions go up by 30. Otherwise, I'll Rip Van Winkle this franchise until next season.

And Harrington is playing well. 2 TD passes. Coulda had three if he hadn't gone past the line of scrimmage on the last one. Go Lions. Go 8-8 and win the last few games to give us false hope for next season. Yaaaaayyy!!!!

Other than giving up 3 long 3rd down conversions to the Cards on the series that they got their field goal, the Lions have looked really sharp.

Joey has been stepping up and hitting his guys. He's been scrambling just enough to avoid the pressure. AND HE IS FINALLY GOING WITH HARD COUNTS. Man, I've been saying that for 3 years. He already had 3 offsides calls on the Cards D because of the hard count.

Jones has looked nice and Roy Williams has been sharp.

Of course this all comes against the Cards and there is still half the game to play AND this is the Lions, so we'll have to wait and see....

Besides, we're about due for a solid game to get the fans' hopes up before we get slammed back to earth next week.

Solid win! And we actually scored on the first drive of the game. Still shuting down the run isn't enough; Warner ripped us for 300+yd. Not enough blitzing. Predictable. R.Will stepped up with a bad wheel and caught 3 TDP.

I think he was saying that he had predicted a Lions victory and Eagles loss prior to either one playing.

Tank Buster, I was thinking they had something specific in mind like the lack of a go to wide out. Or the team had been completely ruined by T.O. Or the Cowboys were just better. Or The Tuna was going to use Reid.

Defensive play of the game: Big Daddy busting into the end zone and stopping the RB with his big gut for a duece. The RB hit his gut and fell straight down.

LB & secondary injuries limited that option, IMO

I would think second string LBs and DBs might be better at blitzing than coverage. Given time a NFL QB will shred any secondary. That's not to say he can't burn the blitz either. But making the Dee difficult to read slows his pass. Be unpredictable, very.
