    Sorry Jay, not good enough.

You'll have to sing the "Please stay Tom" song if you want him to stay.

No way Izzo leaves the state to coach another pro team without first giving the Pistons first option. Gilbert took Piston championship broadcaster Fred McLeod....that was enough

You have to ask yourself why Izzo would want to coach one of the most narcissitic players in the NBA.

If Izzo turns it down, then I bet LBJ will bolt. Gilbert is going all in.

Izzo is a smart guy. He can get much better offers from other NBA teams. I doubt he would want to join the train wreck that is the Cavs organization.

That was a favor. McLeod is the most annoying homer known to man.

Yeah but I got used to hearing him on league pass suffering through the early part of the century with the Pistons until they peaked winning the thang in 04 only to see him hop to Cleveland....

Still why would Izzo entertain the thought of going to Cleveland?? What if Lebron decides not to stay??

    BronTom Izzo coach...Quote

"I’m the Michigan State coach, and that’s what I’m going to do right now,” he said. “Who knows what the future brings? But it sure isn’t at all like it’s maybe being speculated.”

    Nemo interpretation...

"This kid LeBron has to understand who the coach is going to be. They'll be no LeBron posse when I become Cleveland's coach."

Izzo's quote is just a variation from Hoosiers:

Jimmy Chitwood: "I play, coach stays. He goes, I go."

Izzo: "LeBron plays, I go (to Cleveland). He goes, I stay (East Lansing)."

IF he goes, its Ok.. He has to throw his irons in the fire at some point. He will be only 4 hours from Michigan. AND without LeBron,it will b LESS pressure on him to win NOW...

BUT, he loses all he's built in Michigan. The leadership, the contacts, the freedom...

BUT, he doesnt have to look after little boys any more...

BUT, he does have to look after little 'men' now...

How long can he drag this out? I am surprised MSU has not demanded to know if he is staying or going.

Many say Favre did it to skip training camp. He's an old guy so I can't blame him for wanting to skip camp to save his body. If he did it for attention as others say, then I think that is a B.S. reason.

Izzo is waiting on Lebrag. Can you blame him?
