Cool Down Cowpokes.....I LOVE IT. AI, will not take the night off, he is the toughest little dude that plays the game, he will play hurt, injured, whatever.

I think that this is a good deal. It's about time Joe.

I totally agree with you. Plus, I think someone else will be coming in the deal. What's the name of the foreign guy out there in Denver with the mad hops.. I am having a senior moment.

AI is going to give us 25-30 points a night and 7 dimes to go with it. Sounds fair to me when you add in the hunger to win and the "Rip" like motor.

The problem is he's going to take about 50 shots to get that, and take them at the worst possible times. The only way i see this working is if LB is coming back to coach.

Exactly. I am 100% down with this deal. Look folks, we were not going to win anyway with that core.

Truth be told, I sort of saw this coming especially if you were to read between the lines in a couple of the articles when Billups stated that, in the end, I will be the one taking the last shot in a tight game, etc, etc, etc.

I think Joe and Curry somehow believed that Billups would stifle Stuck's development.

With AI coming in, his contract is expiring, Billups just starting on a new contract and Stucky's ability to become a full time starter, someone had to go and guarantee it wouldn't have been Stucky.

I'm sure that JD would have a talk with CB before doing this. We all know Chauncey's from Denver and probably wouldn't mind going there. If it falls through, I wouldn't imagine there being any hard feelings.

It's official. ESPN and NY radio saying papers have been submitted. Made my bad morning much worse. I believed this team could win a title as presently constructed.

Chiek Samb in the deal, too?
I thought he was the "center of the future".
I don't understand, is this a "win now" deal or a "get rid of big contracts after this year deal"?
    I think I just made up my mind I don't like it.:yukpuke:

I agree. But what's this thing with us getting great players on the downturn of their careers?

If Joe plays his cards right, in 15 years we might be able to get Al Jefferson.

I know there is some wear and tear, but AI is only one year older than CB.

I'm liking it more and more.

AI is only 9 months older than CB plus his contract expires after this year so we can have some options.

Just heard it on WDFN. Deal is Ai for CB, Dyess and Samb with dyess being bought out by Denver and returning to the pistons.

If this is true, I like the deal.

You just ticked Lee off bigtime.

I'm hearing reports out of Flint that he is now vehemently opposed to this trade.
