AI is going to give us 25-30 points a night and 7 dimes to go with it. Sounds fair to me when you add in the hunger to win and the "Rip" like motor.
The problem is he's going to take about 50 shots to get that, and take them at the worst possible times. The only way i see this working is if LB is coming back to coach.
Truth be told, I sort of saw this coming especially if you were to read between the lines in a couple of the articles when Billups stated that, in the end, I will be the one taking the last shot in a tight game, etc, etc, etc. I think Joe and Curry somehow believed that Billups would stifle Stuck's development. With AI coming in, his contract is expiring, Billups just starting on a new contract and Stucky's ability to become a full time starter, someone had to go and guarantee it wouldn't have been Stucky.
I'm sure that JD would have a talk with CB before doing this. We all know Chauncey's from Denver and probably wouldn't mind going there. If it falls through, I wouldn't imagine there being any hard feelings.

I know there is some wear and tear, but AI is only one year older than CB. I'm liking it more and more.
AI is only 9 months older than CB plus his contract expires after this year so we can have some options.
Just heard it on WDFN. Deal is Ai for CB, Dyess and Samb with dyess being bought out by Denver and returning to the pistons. If this is true, I like the deal.
