For those who don't have that "insider" thing..

    1 - Anthony Davis
    2 - Thomas Robinson
    3 - Bradley Beal
    4 - Harrison Barnes
    5 - Michael Kidd Gilchrist
    6 - Damien Lillard
    7 - Andre Drummond
    8 - Dion Waiters
    9 - Meyers Leonard (PISTONS)
    10 - Austin Rivers (Hornets)
    11 - Tyler Zeller (Portland)
    12 - Terrence Ross (Milwaukee)
    13 - Jeremy Lamb (Phoenix)
    14 - John Henson (Houston)
    15 - Perry Jones (Philadelphia)
    16 - Moe Harkless (Houston)

He explains that Portland at #6 has a big choice to make. He thinks if they pick Drummond, Lillard and Rivers won't be available at #11.
For him, Lillard is way better than Drummond now.

About the 7th pick, he wrote that Golden State may end up picking Terrence Ross (who is a Jerry West's favourite or something like that) And Tyler Zeller are also in the mix. Drummond is not a lock up in here.

About the 8th pick, he believes that Toronto didn't made a promise to Waiters, is Phoenix the team who did that. If it's not Waiters, J.Lamb, Rivers are other options

At the 9th pick, it's all about monday's big workout for the Pistons. If Drummond doesn't fall to the 9th pick. Henson or Leonard. For now on, he seems to think Leonard is the one for us because the Pistons want to move Monroe back to the PF position and we are looking for a big player to play the C position.

    ______________________

I really don't believe that Leonard is SO MUCH BETTER than Henson, but I wouldn't mind this pick.

But I have to say that I think that Austin Rivers at #10 is really wrong. I mean, If I was the Hornets, I would pick Kendall Marshall without a doubt with that pick. I think he would be great with Eric Gordon and Anthony Davis on the same roster.
I don't know if Ford is tripping, or the Hornets are blind. (Or maybe I'm wrong.. who knows..)

    Changes in the last minutes.

It seems John Henson was the best in the Pistons workout and reclaimed the 9th spot.

So it's all the same that I posted a few hours ago with minor changes:

    1 - Anthony Davis
    2 - Thomas Robinson
    3 - Bradley Beal
    4 - Harrison Barnes
    5 - Michael Kidd Gilchrist
    6 - Damien Lillard
    7 - Andre Drummond
    8 - Dion Waiters
    9 - John Henson (PISTONS)
    10 - Austin Rivers (Hornets)
    11 - Tyler Zeller (Portland)
    12 - Meyers Leonard (Milwaukee)
    13 - Jeremy Lamb (Phoenix)
    14 - Perry Jones (Houston)
    15 - Terrence Ross (Philadelphia)
    16 - Moe Harkless (Houston)

3 days.. I can't be more excited about this day.

    Chad Ford words about Darko............

"He is really one of a kind. He runs the floor, handles the ball, shoots the NBA 3 and plays with his back to the basket, so you can slot him in at the 3, 4 or 5 positions. OK, a few other guys can do that too; what sets him apart is his toughness in the post. You have to love a guy who has the footwork to spin by an opponent but still prefers to lower a shoulder and bang. Fact is, Milicic plays in attack-mode at both ends of the floor. The more you push, the more he pushes back. While he won’t be asked to carry the Pistons, he’s capable of doing this earlier than you think."

Nemo's interpretation of Chad Ford's thought..........

'He'll become known as the Human Victory Cigar as the Pistons win multiple championships under his leadership..............."

The amazing thing about Fad's Darko analyis is the absolutely every part of it is totally wrong. He didn't get one thing right.

Wow! This kid sounds amazing! He can play the 3, 4 or the 5? Loves to bang in the post? NBA 3, good handles, runs like a gazelle? Sounds like he has a ton of heart. "plays in attack-mode at both ends of the floor. The more you push, the more he pushes back"

The Pistons could really use someone with this kind of heart and motor.

    Seriously, get it done Joe.

"He is really one of many. He jogs the floor, has hands like anvils, shoots hook shot air balls and sits the bench with his back to the coach, so you can slot him in at the 13, 14 or 15 positions. OK, a few hundred other guys can do that too; what sets him apart is his pierced ears, bleached hair, and cigarettes. You have to love a guy who has the footwork to spin by an opponent but still prefers to jack up forced jump shots instead. Fact is, Milicic plays basketball like a janitor plays toilet cleaning. The more you push, the more he does his thing. While he won’t be asked to carry the Pistons, he’s capable of carrying Tay's luggage on a good day."

I can't get any more scared of draft night right now. That talent pool is a minefield and I get the feeling at least half of the guys that will be available are going to be busts.

Chad's assessment of Darko is pretty accurate. The only things he really missed was the struggle with the shotblocking rim, and his inability to understand team play.

Wasn't this draft supposed to be stacked with all the guys staying in because of the lockout? What happened?

I would like NO's haul of Davis and Austin Rivers Jr. if this thing were real.

Dwight Howard hasn't put up anywhere near the #'s he did when he played with Darko.

No doubt. Darko was to Howard like peanut butter was to Batman.

Maybe Orlando made a granddaddy of an offer to Scott Perry so they can try and lure Darko back? Howard is free to leave after this season.

I'm hoping for Henson. He's a freak of nature. He's going to have several contracts worth of time to develop here before this organization gets is stuff together for another run. We're only in year 2 of developing our young PG of the future next year, so it's not like we need a playoff ready big man. We need some athleticism and some defense.

Talking about athleticism, has any scouts made a Henson - Javale McGee comparison yet?
