The up and mostly down Bobcats come to the Palace to face the Pistons in the front end of a back to back. Detroit held off a furious Charlotte rally in their first meeting, the Bobcats outscored Detroit 30-12 in the 4th Q. Detroit held on to win 90-86.

ever since diaw/bell trade, bobcats are 7 - 8, which included 90 - 86 loss against us. But that was their first game after the trade. They are good side..but anything short of W is failure here

    I really like Diaw's versatility.

He's kind of like a Tayshaun Prince that can really get away with playing the 4 and 5 if needed.

When Amare was injured he filled in and was a fantasy beast (don't flog me I am aware that this is grain of salt territory ). How much of this was Steve Nash...I dunno. I swear this guy (Nash) could have made Darko look like solid Gold if he had played with him.

When this trade went down I was kind of wondering if Joe should have offered Rip for Diaw+whoever. I know Boris was supposedly on Joe's radar (per Fad Chord) pre-draft. Wouldn't it be interesting if Phoenix had their choice of dealing for Rip or dealing for JRich?

I think they chose wrong if they did.

Don't forget Rip won't come off the bench....:stirthepot:

Might have to swap him and Prince. :pound:

You know what i didn't think of that; Ok Bynum/Stuck/AI/Rip/Prince

This line-up is much better anyway. WTF was i thinking having two guys that were 6"9?

Also i want Rip to play PG, Bynum to play C, AI at PF, Stuck at SF, and Prince at the 2. Just because.

    Why not?

Apparently the rest of this organization has completely lost their minds.

    Why shouldn't we?

Maybe Curry had been reading the forum and this is his attempt to bring unity. We all hate SB. I think we should just do a poll and vote for who should come off the bench, and whoever wins we all have to support. I'll be willing to toss Rip on the bench if it comes to that to avoid small ball. Desperate times, desperate measures.

Besides, I'm sure we could designate one of those VIP leather chairs for whoever has to be on the bench anyway along with a gatorade and a snack of their choice.

I'd come off the bench for a lock of Valter's hair.

It's a really interesting topic I think- how overvalued are guys when they play with Steve Nash or Chris Paul and how do you evaluate these players when you are considering trading for them or getting them off the FA market? Tyson Chandler comes to mind.

Our fave 5 presented an equally tough problem. How to you evaluate guys on offense when they share the ball so well? Their numbers will look worse on a gross basis because they get less shots, but their numbers will look better on a per minute basis because they get easier shots.

On defense, there is also a feedback effect. Ben and Sheed allowed them to press on the perimeter and look more effective.

    Can't wait for this game!!!

I'd like to see Sheed, Kwame, Dyess, Max and TG start. The 4 bigs will just set screens for TG all game. If TG gets tired and has to leave the game the other 4 come out and form a wall around him so he never gets hurt. Amir will dress but never play. His role will be to de-fog the mask and get TGRH a drink.

We must, indeed, all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.
