I can't bring myself to pick the Bobcraps. This one will be a free-throw contest between Stuckey & Corey Maggette.
At our worst...we started out 4-20. Bobcats are 4-21 at home.......... They're on an 11 game losing streak. They're due......... Bobcats by 5................
With the quirky scheduling, this will be the seventh straight Piston game against a team from the Southeast division. They won the first three vs the Bobcats, Magic and Wizards and then lost the last three to the Hawks, Heat and Magic. This is the SE division rubber game...the difference is the first three games were at home and the last four on the road....
These guys have lost 13 in a row........ They have the opportunity to become the most futile team in NBA history. It is up to the Pistons to save them from this dilemma... With Charlotte at home, this may be their only opportunity. Even Rascoe will cheer for them tonight...
92-62 at the end of 3.....I am not sure if feel more sorry my team when it is down by 30 or when the other team is. I actually feel sorry for the looks on the bobcat faces.
Losing what will be 14 straight games after this one, most by blowout margins will do that to a team. Sadly for them, the Bobcats are just the team that can cure all that ails you atm. The Piston kids look happy though, and that's always good to see.
I only saw the last 3 mins of the third quarter and then most of the 4th. I could not tell if the Bobcats were really tanking or they just weren't that good. Pistons most decisive third quarter of the season decade. I did see a lot air balls in those last 5 minutes of the 4th which explains why Villanueva was a -12 and Daye and Walker were -10.....and also explains why a 36 point Piston lead got down to 24 point win.
Up 30+ points on a cellar dweller in a means nothing game and Macklin doesn't get in the game? That's the only reason I tuned in.
^Macklin was inactive. I do wish we'd put Charlie 'I play no D and chuck 3s proudly' Villanueva on the IL instead though. He's like the complete opposite type of player from the sort Frank wants.
This whole Macklin-free zone that the Pistons have going is really starting to bother me. WHY play Charles Garbage instead of the rook? You already know what you have with Villanueava and it doesn't smell very good. If Vern was walking into Joe's office each day and peeing on his desk, he'd STILL deserve to get 20-25 minutes of run each game during the the final games of a lost season like this.
