A loss at home to the Bobcats would prove once and for all that the Pistons belong as one of the top bottom couple teams in the league.

Bismack Biyombo will have more blocked shots in this game than the entire Pistons team will have all week.

The over/under on Monroe's shots that get blocked tonight is 4.

I fully expect GM and BK to come out pissed and ready to run all night , HOWEVER,,,,I see coach playing BG and that certainly spells doom and gloom. He is from this moment on to be reffered to as " the human wet spot"

I always pick incorrectly, so looks like an easy win for the Pistons!

The Pistons problems go well beyond Ben Gordon. I remember a poster that used to blame every Pistons loss on Chucky Atkins...even on nights when Chucky didn't play.

I still place a small amount of blame on Jarvis Hayes whenever the Pistons lose.

Anthony Goldwire didn't do this team any favors.

Pistons by 6. Charlie V. returns and drains a couple of threes at the last minute to win the game!

Rod Higgins sends Tweets a thank-you card after the game.

Different players are blamed by members here for each loss. You'll never see me blaming one player for the Piston woe..............oh never mind..............

six degrees of separation... I dont blame all of the teams losses on BG....just the 90% hes responsible for. I am fine with being the only person that thinks he can bring down an entire team with his poor play and inability to have more than 1 facet to his repetoire. He comes in, plays less than zero defense, his poor defense causes his teammates to pick up fouls covering for him. He hoists poor shots and misses majority of them, he turns it over at a rediculous rate.
I dont see how anyone would want him to be on their team.

I'll admit I used to blame Pepe Sanchez for losses.

    And Pepe..if you're reading this...I was wrong.

Pistons have a 58-43 lead over the Bobcats at the half. Detroit came out with some nice energy and hustle, but the game was mostly back-and-forth through the 1st quarter. The only real run came at the beginning of the 2nd quarter. Strangely enough, the Detroit lineup consisted of Knight, Gordon, Wilkins, Maxiel, and Wallace. On paper, this lineup does not look so hot with 3 of the 5 players offensively-challenged.

Knight was virtually invisible in the 1st quarter. He came out with tons of energy in the 2nd, though, scoring all 14 of his points in that period.

Stuckey has been pretty solid. A couple of turnovers. A nice slam. Several nice drives to the hoop. 15 points.

Prince has quietly put up 8 points and 5 boards, plus a nice block.

Monroe has been a beast on the board. The box score says 3 offensive, but it seems like much more. He did get swatted by Biyombo and he looked silly missing an easy dunk. It's hard to complain about this guy, though, the way he hustles and scraps.

Maxiel hasn't done a whole lot, but he was a part of that run with some boards, defense, and a hoop.

Jerebko came in, had an offensive foul, took a charge, and then went back to the bench. Made a nice hoop in his 2nd substitution. He scored a season high 22 points the last time against the Bobcats. Only 2 in the first half.

Wilkins hasn't hurt the team while he was out there. Magette blew by him once. Damien had a nice post up move. Again, he was in there for the Pistons run.

Gordon scored a couple of hoops, but his shot is not on right now. He had a nice P&R will Monroe. The team was PLUS 10 with him on the floor.

Big Ben was in for the 2nd quarter run. He had a nice tip-in. Not much else.

Charlotte is 4-28, but this is the first game when they have been completely healthy. The Pistons will look to blow them out early in the 3rd.
