Did he just throw Darko under the bus?
Darko crawled under on his own.

Lol, Nuggets couldnt beat bucks(without bogut/redd) and Bulls( with 7 man rotation and all new traded players missing) . They arent any better then last year. But the western conference is way weaker then last year.Hence their overhyped record.
They profited alot this year from injuries to all western teams.
Clippers with kaman, randolph, camby and so on..
    Golden state with monta ellis
Phoenix with amare now, utah with boozer deron kirilenko , lakers with bynum, dallas with josh howard, san antonio with duncan, ginobili and parker missing , houston with t-mac..

They only Had Melo out three weeks. Portland is the luckiest followed by Denver.

Last year Utah Jazz main players missed a combine of 45 games only. This year Boozer himself missed all that, not to forget deron kirilenko ..

Northwest Division best team is still Utah

    They didn't want the Bucks.
They're laying in wait for Rondo and friends.

    75 - 48 boston leading

Billups is 0 - 5 and with 1 point ( from techinical foul) and 4 turnovers..

Denver losing blowout again when nene is out ( see atlanta game also) ... Looks like it was nene that made them somewhat better from last year, not billups lol.

OMG. Worst game of Chauncey's career?

    34 minutes.
    1-8 for 3 points.
    0 rebounds
    5 assists.
    4 turnovers.
    4 fouls.

    -38 for the game!!!

Meanwhile, Rondo goes 5-7 with 8 rebounds, 8 assists. Almost a triple double.

Nene is their +/- leader and roland rating leader after all. Denver Nuggets NBA stats and data from 82games.com

I think so. Chauncey sucked something awful this game, and the Nuggets have been sucking for awhile.

No Nene killed them against BOS.

It looks like the Nuggets are coming down to their defensive earth. It's odd though that they were playing 10x better during that stretch Melo was out (not really blaming, just trying to figure out why)

Some teams just adjust to play better when a key player is out. Either other players step up or the extra shots or turnovers that the missing key player normally generates are reduced.

The Celtics have not lost since KG went down, The Lakers are 8-1 since Bynum went down, the sixers won four in a row when Brand went down, (have now lost 4 in row) and of course the Pistons were 5-2 I believe with Rip on the shelf....

I think they've been missing Kenyon Martin as well. They started that Petro guy who's been "developing" on the sonics for years.

    edited to add;

NVM, i think Martin played against BOS. I wonder what he did b/c i have no recollection of him in that game.

Nene or no Nene (say that 3x really fast), the Nuggs will fade to at LEAST the 5th spot in the West.

...and for a period of 1 week, TaShawn will be sporting an avatar that looks something like this:

I don't know. Houston w/o McGrady is behind them. New Orleans without Chandler. Your only hope is the upstart Blazers.

Also, the Nuggets have the easiest SOS of any team in the league for the rest of the year.

They play Sac twice, OKC twice, LAC twice, + IND, DET, WAS, NYK, GSW, and MEM.

I'll let you out of this bet right now for only 4 days with an embarrassing avatar if you want. I'm only making this offer out of pity.

Tashawn , it doesnt matter if nuggets finishe third or fourth . the best two teams in west are spurs and lakers. then the best two are hornets and jazz. both jazz and hornets will make 5th, 6th IMO. The nuggets will get kicked out of first round again.

Jazz got carloz boozer back btw.

I agree with that. But if they finish 5th, then BDL gets his victory... which would be most unpalatable.

I'd have to check (and I'm too lazy), But I remember Scott Hastings (he's got a radio show here in Denver) going on and on about how the Nuggs had one of the easier schedules in the league during the first half and that they have it pretty tough through the end of the season.

    ...ALICE!!!

If Scott Hastings said it, then I guess it's true.

Check out the stat line with about two minutes to go in the DEN/ATL game. Chauncey must love Mike Bibby LOL.

    33 points, 7-17, 17-19 FTS :faint2:, 7 assists.

That's gotta be a career high.
