Cuz he had planned out 'Thanksgiving' dinner with Rip after the yesterday's "Practice' before the season starts. But instead of all that, he has to play a game a few hundred miles away from Motown. If that does not make him unhappy, what else would?
LOL, you know i thought he looked unhappy as well and then i realized he just always looks that way. I know the team does spend New Year's Eve (??) together. I wonder if they spend other holidays together as well. edited to add; Maybe he's upset about AI missing practice.
Yeah, don't mess with his Pistons. If you saw the Hornet game, man, talk about teams hot and cold. Hornet got like 3 huge breaks in the last 2:00. Tough loss.
Nice night for Chaunce, 25 min, 6-9, 12-12 FT's, 27 pts, 4 assists vs the powerhouse Timberwolves LOL
and they'll still lose against good teams in the playoffs if he can't convince mr chuckster Carmelo to be more effective.... he was outscored by Billiups by only 2 points 27-25 but took 14 more shots to keep it that close.... I really don't understand why he's looked on as such a great player?
Melo went 1-4 and played 14 min. i didn't watch so i don't know what happened. CB made up for it though with 28pts, 10 assists, 4 rbs, 6-7 FT 2stls, 1 bs. Pretty impressive against the HOU defense. The bigs on DEN are what's really impressive though. Kenyon Martin is really back to form. 15 and 4blocks. He looks like the Martin of NJ again.
Boy if Chauncey keeps it up he might get an all-star selection or an MVP award. Those numbers and awards won't translate into the post-season, but WTG Chaunce!
Denver Post. So far they're on a 64.4 game winning pace with CB on the team. Just think if they would have retained Dyess too? Denver does have some really good players and it is unsettling that they never played like this when they had AI.
Take it to the bank doesn't mean as much as it used to... unless you're specifically talking about JP Morgan.
I wasn't talking about Flip, but I think Piston fans may realize this season that it wasn't Flip holding the Pistons back the past few years. Detroit did not have the talent to simply waltz home with a title every year.
The trade certainly won't make the Pistons any worse. It will make them different, that's for sure, but not worse.
