Reason I said this is because I torn mine exactly 2 years ago. Same leg. Playing basketball. Beat my defender and was going for an easy lay up and suddenly it just snaps. Just like Mr Big Shot, no one was near me. My defender was about 3 feet away from me and I wanted to take off. After watching the clip of how Chauncey went down and it was describe in the news, I sort of know that it was a ruptured Achilles tendon.

Well I hope Chauncey can come back, but the reality of it is very slim especially at his age. It is probably the worst injury a basketball player can get.

Maybe Joe can reunite him with Ben Wallace next season and lure Sheed out of retirement.

Chauncey said he was "offended" by Joe D trading him because of his "body of work" with the Pistons

Joe traded "body of work" for "piece of work".

Yes I did. 3 months on crutches and in a boot. Then it was 6 months of therapy.

This is terrible. I was really rooting for him with the Clippers. Going to be a lot less fun to watch them now. The Clippers are on practically every night these days.

Ironic thing - he almost made all years ( productively ) of the contract that Joe just had to get rid of. Dumars signature move of his current rebuilding plan ( code name Stuckey ) all began with the Billups trade.

Code Name Stuckey - that's an awesome name for the current restructuring/rebuilding plan.
