Rip made them pay? Really? What I saw was Rose breaking down the defense and sometimes finding a wide open Rip. Guess its been a long time since they had a halfway decent shooting guard.
Rip was a very willing passer in this game - almost trying to pass too much. His passing skills were always pretty good. Rip also got into the paint quite a lot which caused us problems.
Rip was also guarded by smaller guards for most of the game due to Stuckey being out. It was either Gordon or Knight and Rip's a tall guy.
Frank is fine so far, but Thibedeau could have been had by the Pistons in 2008 if Joe had not been trying to give head coaching jobs to his friends. The team built it's mid decade montra on defense and Thibideau could have maintained at it the end of the Flipper era, no matter how bad BG and CV were on the defensive end when they arrived.....in fact maybe they would have added some D skills to their game by now....js
not sure how much Frank that is, or maybe everyone tryin to impress the new owner. Goes seems to be a put up or shut up guy.
