The birdman will not be flying for the Hornets anymore. He was banned due to drug use. Here is the link

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2308918

In case you don’t know who Chris Andersen is he was the white boy that missed like 6 dunks in the dunk contest a couple of years ago.

The Hornets were very weak in the middle to begin with and now they are going to be getting killed inside for sure.

Here are the frontline guys they have left

Maciej Lampe 6-11 listed as a forward but will probably see minutes at center now http://www.nba.com/playerfile/maciej_lampe/index.html?nav=page

Pj Brown also 6-11 but getting up there in age http://www.nba.com/playerfile/pj_brown/index.html?nav=page

And last but not least Jackson Vroman 6-10 he was averaging a whopping 9 minutes a game and 2.8 points per yeah an allstar http://www.nba.com/playerfile/jackson_vroman/index.html?nav=page

I would think that the Hornets are going to try to do something before the deadline but they don’t have much to offer lets hope they got someone in the dleague to step up.

    Thats sad to hear

Having followed Denver the past few years, I kind of like the guy as a player. Entertaining to watch. I hope he kicks his habit and finds happiness.

The Birdman was getting high like an eagle? Wow!!! Well I hope he will check into rehab ASAP and get his life back on track. Hopefully the league will give him a second chance.

Maybe he can start over as a wide reciever for the Lions.
