Haha is this a serious article? Damn Drew Sharpe must have lost his mind. No way are the Hornets parting with Chris Paul. Chris Paul is god in New Orleans. Sharpe's opinion is that they would rather get rid of Chris Paul than Tyson Chandler? Hahahaha, I wish this would happen, but there's a 0% chance of this one. I can't believe he actually wrote an article about this..

It's spring time in Detroit and the Pistons aren't playing.....we are all grasping at straws trying to write something about them..

I guess so, but there is no way this comes anywhere close to being a possibility. Not to mention he never even states who he thinks should be traded or anything. It's a horrible article.

This rumor keeps coming up. Makes no sense for them not to try to move all the other high priced players before Paul.

NOH will move everyone else before they submit their basketball team and move Paul.

I too thought that Drew Sharp was out all night smoking crack and popping ectasy when I saw that article this morning.

It would be nice, but can't see it happening.

Stuckey and #15 plus 2010 1st rounder, will this be an equal trade anyone.

Trading for the other Chris seems more realistic.

you know, the one in Toronto.

They'll put Chris Paul out there wit 4 undrafted free agents before trading him - sharp has lost all credibility.

Stuckey, and our 1st rounder every other year until the NBA ceases to exist. Then Maybe.

Chris Paul to me is like the Brett Favre of the NBA, you have to write good things about him. Every time I turn around it's he's one of the best PG's of all time and atoms split whenever he laces up his sneakers, but I've never thought of him as this great player.

I'm with Smooth, the Pistons would be better served by getting a dominating C like the other Chris (Bosh). The Pistons don't need CP3, they need a big who won't shoot jumpers and will bang away inside like Lionel Richie All Night Long.

Chris Bosh doesn't exactly bang away all that often. He shoots a lot of 15-17 foot jumpers.

Of course its a far-fetched idea that we could get him, but if we were to trade Stuckey, Rip, Tay, Amir and some draft picks for Paul and Chandler it may work out.

    Our team would be:

    PG- Chris Paul / Bynum
    SG- Afflalo
    SF- Sharpe
    PF- Maxiell
    C- Chandler / Kwame

On the brightside we'd have a nice high lotto pick the next year! On the downside, we'd be giving that pick to New Orleans.

And still the Sheed/AI money to spend on a couple of FA's...

    Artest and Gordon?

That would make the lineup look a little nicer.

Last week when Nawlens lost by 58 points to the Nuggs, I was thinking to myself: "Man, the Hornets are pretty much at rock bottom. Screw Chandler and D-West. Joe should make a play for CP freaking 3!"
...Then I came to my senses and stopped myself from posting these thoughts on this board.

My sincere thanks to Drew Sharp for taking a bullet for me!

    this is funny!

That said, Joe Dumars would be crazy, if this is at all possible somehow, not to pursue!

Makes up for the point guard void. And to me, CP3 is better than Billups so it would make Joe D look like a genius since Billups is much older with only a few years left.

I'd take all of their bad contracts as long as Chris Paul is a part of the package.

I'd rather have Deron Williams than CP3. Too bad that's even a longer shot than CP3.
