All of this is based on a McCosky article isn't it? Red flag on the play. Clipping. Off sides. Traveling. Technical foul.

If this is for Brandon Bass I have to give it thumbs down.

If it is part of a bigger trade that lands us a big while pairing the Griever back up with his boyfriend then I'm all for it.

I'd hate to let Spellcheck go for a freaking 2nd rounder. (assuming that's what it would be due to the fact that I can't think of any Nuggets that Joe would want)

Potential cap clearance may be needed for bigger trade.

I would defintely go for sending TGRH back to be reunited with his life partner. I wonder what Denver could give up in return? Cash would be nice and a future first round consideration.

This would b a good trade on both parts. Denver needs a new sg cuz jones left for pacers and would clear more cap space for the pistons to sign a glen davis? I really like AA he did help us win shooting title in PHX last year

Why do we even bother grooming these guys if we are just going to trade them in for more picks or other teams projects.
Lee is gonna be really mad.

Probably cause they lost Jones to Indy. He was there only real defender against Kobe.

    Good point.

I still think they are outmatched against the Lakers now that they have Artest to defend 'Melo.

Report: Arron Afflalo could be headed to Denver - Full-Court Press

Is this because it's true, or because Dave Dial and Mlive doesn't want to get scooped?

It's sort of disgusting that old Davey gets a pittance for what we have been doing on the board all day, i.e. posting some speculation and opinion.

Re: RUMOR: Denver Post Reorting Potential Trade Affalo to Denver

I've got my finger hovering over the "Submit Topic" button on a Fire Dumars thread if Joe decides it's a good idea to trade our best defender (and a young guy at that!!), keep Rip Hamilton (inducing the inevitable locker room drama come training camp), and be left with a massive hole at Center, all for Glen Davis. [sarcasm]Because we need a 3rd mediocre PFs.[/sarcasm]

The obvious decision is to trade Rip for a Big. Not to trade our young players just so we can keep the nightmare backcourt in tact.

What can Joe possibly be thinking?

    Uh Dre, actually it says...

He handles the ball well enough for spot point guard duty, but is limited a bit athletically. Defensively he’s solid.

Re: Rumor:Afflalo to Denver for Cap Space

But i really like Arron Afflalo : (
Him and Dyess were the hardest workers last season. Plus, if Afflalo is traded, then that means Rip is probably staying : (

Re: Rumor:Afflalo to Denver for Cap Space

Tell me about it. AA is hard to part with, but Rip's contract is untradeable because of that extension. We really could AA's $1M in cap space and if Ri['s staying than there's now way he's going to play.

Smart move for Denver, the whole time I was watching Jones last year. he seems like a more athletic, but less composed version of Arron. Just like going to SA was GREAT for Dyess, going to Denv is great for Arron's career, I actually hope this rumor is true for AA's sake.

Re: Rumor:Afflalo to Denver for Cap Space

The question is who are we looking to sign or trade for with the additional CAP Space?? Bass, Ariza, Memo, Gortat, Sideshow have all re-signed or committed to other teams.

Are we targeting Big Baby or Milsap or are we still looking at the old Dallas dude?

Joe give us a clue whatcha doing...you already wasted time with the coaching fiasco and missed out on the real bigs...

Re: Rumor:Afflalo to Denver for Cap Space

At this point Dre it's either Big Baby or a trade, because Port just offered up front loaded contract to Millsap, that the Jazz HAVE to match, oh this is where the rubber meets the road baby.

This reminds me of how Miami got Odom from the Clips. Riles sent an offer sheet to Brand, Clips matched - extended themselves financially and then Riles scooped in to take Odom when they could no longer afford him.

If Utah matches the Millsap deal, they will definitely be showing their hand, I bet we could definitely pull off a 3-way deal with Port and Utah as the Jazz will definitelyy be trying to dump Boozers salary.
