Losing Dyess, Sheed. Amir, and even Sharpe leaves us thin up front. I still think we need to be able to compete next season just to attract any high tier FA next summer. With a thin front line that can't rebound, score or play defense, we are possiblly looking at 30 winnable games next season.

Mr. Cap Space needs to be at least 6'9 and and have more experience and toughness than whats left over from last year such as Max and Kwame. We know that the draft picks aren't going to give us that much.

Trading Alf can possibly bring in Big Baby who can possibly play the same inside job that Corliss gave us back in 03 and 04. We know Max's inside positioning is suspect unless it is a dunk and no disrespect to whomever, but white men can jump higher than him. ,... which means why Amir in his five minutes of PT normally got more boards than Max in 20 minutes...

Actually, Deron can't shoot very well and sucks at the free throw line.

I think it's pretty safe to say we all think there's more coming! i just know Joe better get something going here cause he's caught my attention ,he seems like he's in a place where he do a lot of good stuff. I think this year was maybe his best Draft ever ,and I like CV31 and Gordon so I can't wait to see what happens next.

We can forget about Bosh, becouse Raptors got Turkey so they don't need SF.They need a SG,but I don' think they will trade Bosh for RIP.

Yep. The Raptors are making a final effort to convince Bosh to stay.

He doesn't very well, however his defense is pretty darn good and like I said a gifted athlete who will probably get the same amount of minutes that Affalo had.

If he Deron becomes an average shooter, he would be dangerous.

    And Rip still stays....

I knew Walter Sharpe would become nothing with the Pistons...why did Joe waste this pick?

Very rough summer for Lee. He lost Amir Johnson and now Aaron Afflalo.

He has at the moment, no one to debate with the Low (in podcasts) about.

Don't forget the situational 12th man slow rotating jump-shooting Dyess!

Detroit free press "The Pistons traded guard Aaron Afflalo, forward Walter Sharpe and cash to the Denver Nuggets today for a future second-round pick in a move that clears an estimated $1.8 million in salary cap space"
Why would we give money 2, not to even out trade, we aren't bringing in a contract

They are taking on contracts for marginal talent. Joe is paying them to take them.

Re: RUMOR: Denver Post Reorting Potential Trade Affalo to Denver

I don't know. It's a big waste of time and resources is what it is.

It's kind of like the game of chess, my brother Thee. Sometimes you have to sacrifice your castle thingy to capture one of those horseys.

I like it. I really liked AA, but he was not essential. I will miss seeing him knock down those ice-cold free throws in the fourth, and his better than average three-point shooting...but we can replace both those things.

We are so thin up front, I really feel like we are trying to clear the way for an energetic big (Chandler). He would match up well with the rest of our starters, and with our rooks impressing in DL, we actually have a shot at changing the entire complexion and style of our team in one off-season. Not saying that we will win a 'ship next year, but we could be fun to watch and regain our competitiveness as we try to draw interest in the next FA class...

Maybe the opportunities and flexibility wasn't present before as they are now.

Very happy for Afflalo. The Nuggets have a legit chance to win it all next year.
