IMO Mark Cuban is good for the NBA. You are always going to get people wanting to take cheap shots at you when you are as visible as he is.

The heck with Cuban...he will be voted out in the first two weeks whether he can dance or not. I will pull for Scary Spice or Jennie Garth if I decide to even watch it. Wonder if Jayne Seymour will flash us like she did in "wedding crashers":)

As weird as this is, you have to respect that he's willing to compete outside his element.

I don't know about Wayne Newton, but when I was a kid I used to like his brother Fig....:pound:

His dance partner on Dancing With The Stars, on the air as I write this, might suggest otherwise.

Of course his dancing might reconfirm it or it may not.

Saw dancing with the stars. Cuban did a nice job of dancing and he projected a good image. At 56 years old, Jane Seymore still looks good.

She looks a lot better than Wayne "Mr. Las Vegas" Newton does at 65. But then I always thought that the other Newton was far more attractive.

A more recent picture and she is now 59.

From my POV, Mark Cuban has been a plus when it comes to basketball, and he is a winner on a number of fronts. I can only imagine what he and Joe could have done if he was the owner up here.

He puts himself "out there", like with the April Fool joke he played on the NBA, the Dancing With the Stars, and his treatment of his players. He seems to really do everything for his players.

Starting out from where he did and getting to the point he is now took a lot of different skills and taking a lot of chances. He outdid "the Donald" in my mind, without all the fanfare and stepping on people on the way up.

    Right On.

Cuban is the victim of just plain jealousy by many people who are envious of his self made success, attributing a lot of it too luck. People also don't like his maverick personality.

How many of us would have the guts to get up on Dancing With The Stars and let 15% of America see that we can't dance, but still have a great time and do a great self promo for free.

Their last preformance, she did a nice impression of Barbara Eden from "I dream of Genie". Same genie outfit too. I gave her a "10"

Cuban's married, I believe he has two children.

I'm pretty proud of Mark for doing this. I don't know if I would have the guts to try it. He's not someone who makes his money via his celebrity, so there wasn't really a financial incentive to participate.

Someone told me yesterday that he lost 30 lbs. for this competition. We should all be so bold.

Even more impressive, he had full hip replacement 5.5 weeks before the Dancin/stars competition began. (he was on the view today dancing to the Jeanie song again).
