I question your reading comprehension. I posted earlier that I personally talked to Michael Curry and he assured me that he will make the youth the priority. Do you only read what you want and disregard the rest? If you want to see it in print, on the internets, just scroll back a few pages.

Not a direct quote or Curry speaking, but some encouraging (potential) stuff from Joe D in terms of the young guys.

    True Blue Pistons
The whole interview should be interesting . . .

In fairness to Lee, your writing WAS a bit slurred. Maybe that's why he didn't understand...

Actually, now I'm starting to wonder about the company coach Curry keeps. Was he even sober when he made these comments to you?

Let's just put it this way: try to find me an article on the internets that states that MC is not a drunk. Couldn't find one? I rest my case.

Now that Curry's drinking problem has been exposed how do you all think it will affect his coaching? If the young players drink with him, will it improve their chances to get some minutes?

Should Cheikh Samb, for example, take the initiative to invite the coach out for some binge drinking?

    already being done.

I read somewhere that Cheikh has Mike Curry over for a "Sambuca session" each and every Wednesday night.

The basketball playing scenes in this Kurtis Blow video appear authentic. They're really playing above the rim. :pound:

Even worse, in the event that Curry has to step down due to his drinking, can you show me any articles that state that his yet to be named assistants favor playing youth over the evil vets?

I just checked. I used key words: potential Pistons assistant coaches play youth drunken Curry ....zero hits.

If I was coach I would not let the starters play more than a qtr. I want to keep them super fresh for the playoffs. That we can see what the JV line will do against the likes of the Spurs, Celts, Hornets, Jazz while developing them w/ heavy minutes. Three cheers for [strike]Amare[/strike] Amir [strike]Stoudamire[/strike]Johnson. My hope is continuous losing will develop them into battle hardened vets ready for the playoffs. My youngsters will have 0 pre-game warmups, don't want them tired before tip-off. :) 2009 Championship here we come.

Not surprisingly, McCoskey missed all of this. He was scooped by our own Linwood.

Maybe McCoskey needs to start drinking with the coach so he can "Curry favour" from him ;)

    Curry favour

so thats why we always would lose on wed night... folks were in a hurry to get to samb's party.

Well... we need to trade Samb ASAP.... maybe we can trade him to chicago for there draft pick and Aaron Gray... I mean chicago isn't to bright... we tell them about Samb's parties... and they'd go for it right?
