Some of our friends here would love to see this in action.
I haven't read through this thread. I'm too bla about the confirmation. I'm not surprised; i think Joe jumped the shark awhile ago.
Oh well another season of, he good, he bad.
Yes that is something to consider.
Maybe he will do better with new players to fit his system - whatever that is.
someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe it was $2.5M TOTAL for the 3 years of his contract
It's 2.5M per season
after reading the entire thread... it looks like I might be the only one supporting this move :X
This is a great point that needs to be considered regarding this decision.
Can't say I necessarily agree with the ownership here though. Since Curry can't coach, I would speculate that another year of his musical chairs line-up and non-existent game plan will probably hurt the bottom line more than his lost salary would.
That team has no shooters. Curry's game plan is to revert to taking contested jumpers as soon as there's a chance of winning a game. So, you're right. What Curry needs is the following lineup:
Now we're talking.
Perhaps Joe will fire Curry after the 4th game of next season and bring someone new in. Maybe that's his new thing.
No his wife and kids are ecstatic!!
Looks that way so far. I hope we are all wrong though and Curry succeeds with a new line-up and we make a nice play-off run.
What makes you in favor of keeping him?
so true! lol
I might come around. At least I will go into next season knowing in advance which goat to escape.
Curry owes Joe some kickback cash.
Thanks Tater! Your home photos always crack me up!
Dress that goat in a tablecloth and you've got it.
When you think about it. You lose your PG, have all those injuries. Get close to nothing from Sheed for the most part. With all things considered 39 wins sounds about right.
Vets may have quit on him but the younger players never did. So maybe bringing in some new guys will work out better than we would expect.
Come on!!! Curry cost us atleast 10 wins this year with his sheer incompetence.
This should have signaled the end of an era. It's not like Dumars didn't know what he was getting. Check out the threads.
