Here is another way to look at this madness of Curry's.

Hints are out there that he now wants to go to a 4 guard starting unit. After he decided to go to a two center unit. For no reason.

So how can you drop Amir from the starting unit, saying we need to go bigger, when now you think we should go even smaller than originally?

None of this makes sense. Curry got it right to start the season, with Amir starting. A center, Sheed, and a quick power forward, Amir, complementing each others games.

By the way, he is messing up with JMAX lately too, not playing him in the 2nd halves of games.

The very best quarter we have had these past several games - Stuckey, Afflalo, Amir, and JMAX played as a unit. (with first AI, then, Rip, then Tay, playing along side them.) Then he has never went back to it.

This is irritating as well especially since we're getting killed on the PNR. Curry just seems to be all over the place right now.

Twolves just fired Randy Wittman and GM Kevin McHale will take over...

Do you think Joe Dumars could handle coaching [strike]these egos[/strike] this team of underachievers?

I believe he should. No more excuses. With him being the GM and the coach, no more throwing the blame off to his poor picks for coaches.

Curry is doing the old 2-step here. After a few games of watching Rip get in foul trouble, he'll tell Rip that he's not big enough to play the 3 and has to go to the bench.

Its pretty sad when your starting PG is only a few whoppers as heavy as the PF.

he should but he will not in the interest of keeping his job. his boss had input over the trade and had to be informed of the business opportunity as well, but probably didn't think the experiment would go this poorly. :crying:

If anyone is gonna get feelings hurt and go to the bench it should be AI. worst case scenario? hes gone at end of season anyway. If Rip is in plans for the future? you cant do that to him. AI is the odd man out. Hes the one that needs to sacrafice to fit the team...not the other way around.

I agree. Hasn't TGRH been through enough this year? He's this close to an eating disorder.

While this is a good point, so is the above. If AI is gone after this year, have him come off the bench. Who cares about hurt feelings if he's not a piece for the future?

Members of the 2010 class of free agents might care if they think the Pistons are mistreating their superstar.

Sometimes the table smörgåsbord is rotated and those with eating disorders choke over some many disagreeable options.

Make all obvious that can not be ignored:
    • This starting crew should be quickly out the gate and the bench coming in has to pick up the energy. Washington is an excellent team for creating up some mind changes.
    • Sheed can now choose to be obvious that he has mailed in the season.

It will be interesting to see how long this thing lasts. Even in any particular game, how quickly will our front line get into foul trouble? Watch Curry bring in Herrmann as his first sub for foul trouble among the bigs. He'll make sure it all fails, and then he can move Rip to the bench.

Joe believed in the status quo...he thought we were good enough to compete...which we did

Joe did not believe in the status quo any longer...so he made changes......now he sees that the changes are not working out.....he is making more changes and contemplating others.......joe is now insane
