I believe this one is on NBA TV for those that have it.

This is going to be bizzaro world opposite of last year where Flip followed up Herrrrman's legendary defensive effort against Dirk by playing all the starters 40+ minutes to get the win against SA. Dirk, by the way, must be praying Walter's rib injury keeps him out tonight.

NBA TV? Woohoo! Get to see the Pistons for the first time this year.

We should try Samb on Dirk.

If Walt plays I fully expect Dirk to pull up lame with some sort of minor injury to avoid the embarrassment of being absolutely shut down by Herrmann the German Killer.

The Pistons have so many ways to stop Dirk it's not even funny. I doubt he'll even bother to suit up. I mean, what would be the point?

P.S. Do you ever wonder if the stuff we write gets tacked up on the blackboard in the visitor's locker room?

No, it's way too mean to fire anybody up. It would just crush their spirits.

Yes that is correct, NBA TV will be broadcasting the game in HD. NBA TV will also provide a Piston (& Mavs) season opreview at 7PM (4PM west coast) prior to the game.

You're so correct!! But you gotta admit that with him always doing that fade away that stops him. All he has to do is shoot right over the top with his 7 foot tall self....European ballers are just plain crazy!!

Whenever Chauncey or Sheed get the ball the game kinda stops. Amir is looking better today. Active as hell on the offensive glass.

Chauncey is noticeably quicker but hes JUST NOT quick enough to get those quick finishes in traffic. kinda frustrating.

Only get really scoring is Josh Howard. Jason Maxiell taking too many pansy Sheed fadeaways.

this is disgraceful, what i'm watching. not on an effort level, but its clear that they are playing with ZERO direction.

MC can stress tough basketball, conditioning, blah blah blah, but X's and O's DO matter here. they are running very little plays. they're running around hard, but at least so far this preseason its apparent that MC hasn't devised a general offensive game-plan yet. Just "hustle, hustle, hustle." There is time to fix it but this is going to be a ROUGH start to the season.

Only chemistry we have is CB feeding Rip off a screen.

i'm not watching, but just checked the boxscore.....only positive is that Amir has more rebounds than fouls.

no post plays from pistons so far - it was pretty predictable. Sheed did not even try.

Will the real Pistons show up, or is this the real Pistons??

They have scored 53 points in the last 4 quarters:yellowprison:

Jumpers from everywhere and only 4 points in the paint...in fact every shot attempted in the paint was contested and missed

One apparent difference between Flip and Curry....There was no seat for Flip, so he twitched up and down the sideline. Curry does not even get up for time outs:)

lol. hes the only one that appears to make a difference though. He's not getting any help from Sheed.

I know its early, but how many of us wanted him traded for the same lackluster performance he gave May....
