Dan is having a press conference this afternoon. Hopefully, this will get even uglier. However, watching Stern over the years, he has already gotten to Gilbert and the owner will apologize for this comments. So we will get no Delonte West/Gloria James insider info. SMH. I am feeling a little sorry for the Cavs fans, even though they are an obnoxious bunch. But I love the Lebron bashing, and Miami bashing. Sports is a business, but fans get to choose sides. Can't wait until November.

:pound:This is s simply hilarious. Gilbert couldnt get the Pistons , so he tried to build(succesfully,I might add) a Detroit 'East' squad in Cleveland. He even took our announcer (thank God) Fred McLeod (who I am DYING to hear call a Cavs game this year!!!) and tried to get the state's most beloved coach, Izzo. Now , this letter....I just picturing his face while writing it!! hahhhaaaa:pound::pound:

In two years, Gilbert will be like Homer Simpson's brother , sitting around a fire next to a train track with 4 other bums singing "yesterday!':pound::pound:

Who will be the most vilified sports figure in Cleveland history: Art Modell or LeBron James?

If I'm LeBron, I look at it like this: "Dan, you had seven years to win a title with me on the team, and we didn't do it. I want to go try somewhere else."

No law against it. Gilbert's reaction was unprofessional. As stupid as LeBron looks doing an hour-long special, Gilbert looks worse. However, Gilbert looks great to Cleveland fans and that's what this is about. Gilbert needs to save face and get a little love to hide the fact that the Cavs didn't do enough while they had James.

That being said, Miami has a long way to go. Orlando is still a pretty good team, and the Heat don't have a lot of role players.

    MODELL...by FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He moved a team that even 'I' liked OVERNIGHT to BALTIMORE who's team moved OVERNIGHT to Indy! And the Ravens WIN a Super Bowl!!! Oh My God!

I still dont look at the 'current' Browns team as the Cleveland Browns.

James is just one guy who at 25 can NOT be responsible for the entire state, but the BROWNS were NFL history.

This ^^^ is why I like you so much. :)

Consider, Gilbert bought the Cavs, and most of the franchise equity was in Lebron James. The Cavs just went from being worth whatever they were worth, to probably being valued at 30% less.

Somewhere dba is smiling. Subprime Dan found his market crash.

That is one of the great upsides to this whole situation, listening to Fred McLeod and Austin Carr call the game now. This situation get more enjoyable by the moment.

Sweet, Thanks for reminding me about McLeod now having to broadcast for a non-competitive team.

And that annoying announcer who was making fun of Mason having to do his bit to a 1/2 full arena.

How much do you think they will whine about LeBron getting too many calls?

I wonder what CavsFan23 is doing today? :pound: :pound: :pound:

This is being beaten to death, but James really stuck it to the Cavs by waiting so long to tell them he wasn't coming back. They are kind of stuck now.

The only time it will get loud in the Q next season is when the L-Train is in town.

Oh St. Vincent St. Mary! ...

This just in, McLeod is thinking of moving to South Beach as part of the LBJ posse. if he can't get a job with the heat, he will still broadcast the games on the newly formed LBJ.net..

Are you referring to the letter or the use of Comic Sans IN the letter?

I have to admit that this whole thing could not have worked out any better for me - that is being a self admitted Cavs/LBJ hatter.

Miami is the lesser of the 4 evils ( can you imagine the current Bulls with LBJ? ) Plus LBJ comes out of this looking like a complete schumck after handling the whole thing ( "The Decision" ) in the worst possible way.

Life is good. Now we just have to find a new owner for our team and get them back on track. Hopefully someone who did not make a fortune on handing out bad loans .

Are we bad for thinking this way?
