I think it was Buddahfan's invention........a long lost member of the PF community........ http://www.pistonsforum.com/threads/top-30-foreign-born-nba-players-darko-25-no-piston-on-list.3562/
LOL. Actually it was me that coined "casual Internet fan" in reference to one of Buddahfan's posts. He wasn't too fond of the reference. http://pistonsforum.com/threads/flippers-bs.3253/#post-78750 Have a nice day.
I took some heat back in the day for coining this phrase. Eventually, people forgot where it came from. Now I get some props for it. It's like the circle of life.
I share linwood's view on this phrase. I think as recently as last week I referred to mystelf as a casual internet fan.
I'm telling y'all, Pekovic is on beast mode. Lin is overshadowing him, but this guy snapped out of nowhere to put together a massive string of games. Tonight, 30 points, 12 boards, 1 assist, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. And Love actually matches him with 33 points, 17 boards, 1 assist, 0 steals, and 2 blocks 66 points 29 rebounds 2 assists 3 steals 5 blocks 24-36 from the floor (.667) from their starting PF and C tonight. I'm not sure when the last time 66 and 29 has happened from a pair of starting big men, but it has to be fairly rare. Their 2 starting guards go for 27 points and 15 assists. Now that Minny got Pek on the floor, they are starting to show some real muscle. http://www.foxsportsnorth.com/02/14..._timberwolves.html?blockID=665774&feedID=3697
Look at this guy. He's the true Serbian Gangster. The internet is full of tales of his teammates fear... imagine the opposition. Here's his tattoo. No basketball with a crown for this guy, just a pile of skulls and a broadsword:
Buddahfan never COULD distinguish between sweetness and abrasiveness. Don't despair. You're in great company. Van Gogh, Poe, and Dickinson all got the same treatment. http://www.toptenz.net/top-10-people-who-became-famous-after-death.php
