I guess what it has come down to is Darko supporters arguing that he should be farther down the biggest flop list.
- I was trapped listening to Millen the other nite. And every time he said something I said to myself "aw shut the 3332@@)))!!% up". I'm glad this guy wrote the article, to set the record straight.
The Knicks have won 7 of their last 9 games and are on the brink of making the playoffs. Darko's stats during the winning streak: 0 minutes, 0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 blocks, 0 assists, 0 steals (those are 48-minute stats, by the way)
How good must one be to lead a team to victory in 7 of the last 9 games without even having to scratch the boxscore.....simply amazing!!!!!! He should have been the #1 pick!!! Seriously, I WISH he would have been the #1 pick

Remember when they were talking about how Darko and Curry were going to be competing to see who could get minutes this year? Darko = 71 minutes Curry = 62 minutes Such a waste and waist of talent.
Did anyone see Darko behind the bench in street clothes for either game??? Or is he already flown the coop? Just wondering as I don't recall Blaha or Kelser mentioning him or pointing him out in either of the last two games...
Darko is playing a game of chicken with the Knicks. A game the Knicks are going to lose. Darko has supposedly received an offer to play for Real Madrid for 7.5 mil Euro's per year, 3 years. Or 23 mil US. Yes, 23 mil US. That's 11 mil converted to dollars, and then after tax considerations works out to about 23 mil per. Darko wants bought out, Knicks are looking to trade him to someone with a bigger expiring desperate for a big man. My prediction, Darko plays in Spain for the next 3 years, dominates the Euro leagues, gets a max offer to come back to the US. PO's his head coach, sits the bench for the next 5 years, and retires at 33 with over $100 mil in career earnings.
Mostly sarcasm, but hey, with the current GMs in the NBA, you never know. And Darko is only 24, he'll be 27 after this contract.
I still can't believe that Darko's NBA career will already be over. I remember how long I defended him. Remember readin all these praising articles prior to the draft. Why, Darko, why? Tons of talent, good size. But he ended up as the biggest draft bust since Sam Bowie. Too bad; I still think he can be a 15ppg/8rebs/2 blks guy somehow.
I think he could be a 13, 7, and 1.5 guy but he has to do 1 thing that he seems utterly incapable of doing. Which is quite simply shutting the (expletive deleted) up and playing ball. Nobody likes a whiner and no coach is gonna play a (13 and 7) guy that bad mouths the team, and whines and moans about every little horrible aspect of his amazingly overprivilidged life that he clearly takes for granted.
hmmm.... intriguing On one side we have a real 7 footer with talent skills bad attitude and work ethic, on the other you have a guy who hustles but just doesn't seem to have the talent or ability and then we have our own JJ who has shown he has the talent and has proven he has the work ethic and hustle required to make it. Not only that but he is ACTUALLY DOING IT RIGHT NOW and he still does not have this crazy devout following of fans who think he is gods gift to basketball like Darko and Amir
I'd argue that DMC is a bigger bust than Bowie. Sam had injuries - which ended up making him a bust. Darko is a jackass - which makes him a bust.
